The Prince Demand I Marry Him

Chapter 11

"I'm sorry Eleanor, I'll come get you another time" Jonathan said before jumping out of the window, leaving her alone and running away to escape.

Jonathan saw Johannah's car and quickly ran into it. Johannah who was confused looked at him.

Eleanor started laughing again catching the attention of Leo who immediately kicked up the locked door.

The door opened as Leo's eyes widened at the state of his wife falling asleep on the floor. A noticeable hickey was on the side of her neck as Leo bit his inner cheeks trying to control his anger. He punched the wall as hard as he could causing his knuckles to bleed. He took his coat off and covered his wife before walking out of the room.

"Stop searching, the princess has been found" Leo gave orders as he angrily walked back to his room at the palace. He threw Eleanor on the bed harshly as he unbuttoned his white shirt trying to breath properly.

"It's hot" Eleanor muttered as she tried kicking her dress off catching Leo's attention. "What did you say?" Leo said walking closer to Eleanor. "It's hot Leo" Eleanor said, pulling Leo in for a kiss. Leo pushed her away as he had 'unbelievable' written on his face.

"Who dares to drug the Princess with aphrodisiac on her wedding party?" Leo thought as he ran to the ballroom. The place was already clean as Leo took a deep breath. The only way to know is to wait for Eleanor to gain conscious.

Leo went back to his room noticing Eleanor was already asleep. Leo smiled pitifully. "I'm sorry I failed to protect you" Leo said as he caressed her head.

Leo took a shower before laying down beside of Eleanor, hugging her to sleep.

Eleanor woke up with a very bad headache trying to remember everything that happened last night but nothing came into mind. "Are you sure you don't remember what happened?" Leo asked as Eleanor shook her head. All of the royal family members were in Leo's room except for the Queen Dowager, the Princess Royal and Prince Anthon.

"There was indeed aphrodisiac in one of the glasses used during the ball but there were only Lady Millington's and Eleanor's fingerprints on the wine glass" Anthony said. "Well it could be Lady Millington's doing. We can't ignore the fact that she was supposed to be the one marrying Nicholas right?" Charles spoke up with a smirk. "Charles" The Queen said in a warning tone. "Mother, I am only stating the obvious. Lady Millington might be jealous of Eleanor and tried to harm her with aphrodisiac" Charles spoke up again stating a point.

"Hannah wouldn't do that to me" Eleanor spoke up after a moment of silence. "Eleanor, I must remind you, this is royalty. Everyone is a threat to you" Charles said looking at Eleanor who was dumbfounded.

"I guess we could interrogate Lady Millington" The King said after thinking for awhile.

Johannah sighed as she entered the palace. A few guards guided her to the throne room as she saw the King sitting on his throne. The 3 princes were on his side and Eleanor was sitting beside of them. The Grand Duke Lincoln, Marquess Atkins and her father was there too.

"Bow down to your king" the Grand Duke said as Johannah slightly raised her dress and bowed. "Greetings your majesty" Johannah said. "I am sure you are aware on why you have been summoned in court" the King said as he looked at Johannah in front of him. He felt pity for the child but he would still choose Eleanor over Johannah as a daughter in law.

"Yes, I am very much aware, your majesty" Johannah said as she looked at the ground. "Do you have any statement to give as proof you did not drugged the wine given to her highness Princess Eleanor?" the Grand Duke said watching Johannah's every move.

Eleanor just watched Johannah in worry, she knew Johannah wouldn't do such things because of jealousy. But she had no power to save her even though she was the victim of the incident. Drugging a royal member is considered a crime of harming the Royal family.

"I have no defence, your serene grace. It is indeed I, who put aphrodisiac into her highness, Princess Eleanor's wine" Johannah said, eyes still fixed on the floor. She was surprisingly very calmed. Eleanor's mouth dropped upon hearing what Johannah had said. Duke Millington was taken by shock at his daughter's statement. Grand Duke was enjoying the drama in front of him as he silently observed Johannah and Eleanor.

"Tell them that you're lying Hannah" Eleanor said as she stood up, wanting to run to her bestfriend but Leo stopped her. "Do not interrupt the court" Leo said as he pulled Eleanor to her chair. "You do know the punishment for lying to the king right?" Duke Millington spoke up as he scrunched his eyebrows looking at his daughter.

"I very well aware father, however I am not lying. Her majesty, the Queen Dowager had personally requested a favour from me, which is to drug her Highness in order for her majesty to get a new grandchild" Johannah said as all eyes were on her. The king sighed. "Send someone to get a statement from the Queen Dowager" the king said to the Grand Duke.

"There's no need for that" the door opened revealing the Queen Dowager. Everyone except for the King greeted her. "Mother you didn't have to come. Get a chair for her majesty" The King said as the Queen Dowager walked towards Johannah. "I'm so sorry I got you into this mess, my sweetie" Queen Dowager said as she grabbed Johannah's hands.

"Yes, it is Indeed I who had ordered Lady Millington to drug Princess Eleanor's wine yesterday. However my intentions were not of evil. I was wishing that Princess Eleanor could bear a fruit of happiness. I will take full responsibility of this incident" The Queen Dowager said as she sat down on her chair.

Everyone nodded. Eleanor was pouting at Queen Dowager who smiled back at her. "Marquess Atkins, do you have anything to say?" the King asked looking at the head of the kingdom's army. "Yes, your majesty. Based on my observations, I do think this started of as an innocent incident however, someone else tried to take advantage of it by doing immoral things to the princess" Marquess Atkins said as he locked eyes with Johannah. The king nodded totally understanding what he meant.

"But I do have questions to ask, Lady Millington. First question, why did you sent her highness, Princess Eleanor to a guest room instead of sending her to his highness Prince Leo's room?" Marquess Atkins asked as he smirked while looking at Johannah. Johannah glared at him, he knew he was purposely pushing her off the cliff.
