It was already clear to me that this girl is a human. At first I took it normally as humans are reckless though they are powerless . They keep coming in to this forest ignoring the warnings. I was rather glad that I was the one who saw her first. Cause if my brothers or any other animals had seen her , she would have already be dead . I thought that I'll erase her memories & send her back like I always do . But what shocked me the most was , when she said she heard my flute. It's impossible for a human to here my flute ! Only our kind & animals can hear that . And by our kind , I mean Vampires . The royal ones . The lower vampire's can hear it but for them , it sounds bitter . But she said it was mesmerizing!?
She even heard the animals coming towards me !? She's definitely not an ordinary human. When she asked about me being here , I was caught off guard. I couldn't say the truth as I think I can't erase her memory . Because if anyone except animals can hear my flutes magical tune , my magic doesn't work on them . Until today , it was only my 6 brothers who are Vampire Kings & my wife Elena who is also a vampire .
So I lied to her & acted like a normal human. I need to observe her first & know what actually she is. I thought I'll keep her in my castle , 'The Sky Castle' , & observe her . But then she threw the second bomb saying the palace she was in search of was none other than 'The Blood Castle' ! Taehyung's castle !!
There is no way , she can enter there . Not even we are allowed to enter his castle without his permission. Even if he calls us , we are restricted to roam around or open the doors of the rooms he has locked . I don't know what he's hiding from us but he is really introvert & doesn't let anyone except us enter his palace. I'm sure his gonna throw a tantrum once he finds out about this girl entering his territory , his forest. Yes , even though all 7 of us are kings , Taehyung owns The Blood Forest. Once , we were used to own our areas too but as time flew human took control over the world & the amount of vampires decreased. Only us 7 kings are left from the royal blood line now . Due to some events we lost our territories but Taehyung succeed in keeping his territory safe & made this a safe place for all the 'pure blood vampires .'
I came out of my long chain of thoughts when the human shook me by holding my arm. Wait ! She touched me !! I instantly looked at her only to find her staring at me with big curious eyes . But the only thing in my mind was , she is a human who touched me but didn't freeze ! She is definitely not an ordinary human . Normally if any human touches any of us 7 kings they'll freeze at there spot , it's a spell Yoongi hyung casted on us for our safety.
" Um ... Sorry I zoned out. You want to research about ' The Blood Castle' ? " I asked again.
" Yeah. Can you tell me where it is ? " She asked. Suddenly I remembered something. That freak Taehyung has casted some sort of a spell on his castle for which it only can be seen by humans on the occasion of blood moon , which happens once in a month & can only be seen by vampire eyes. For humans , it looks the same as regular moon. Which means she can't see the castle yet. Then an idea hit me.
" Um.. actually I don't know where the blood castle is. I myself is trying to find it. But while searching for it , I found another castle similar to it. If you want , I can show you. " I said.
" So there are more castles here ? Great ! Let's go there then . After this one we both can search the blood castle together , what say ? " She said excitedly.
" Uh..sure . Let's go . It's getting so dark here. " I said & started showing her the way towards my castle.
I need to take her there secretly. If any vampire sees her , they'll know she is a human by her scent & report Taehyung . And so I took her through a secret passage that no one knows except me . The passage opens at the back of the castle .
" This... looks like the back side of the castle. " She said frowning.
I can't take her through the main gate , there'll be guards & other vampires.
" Uh... actually , the front gate is locked. So we've to enter from the back. " I said nervously. I swear , I've never lied this much in my whole life of 1000 years.
" Oh ... Ok . " She said as we entered the castle.
" Um.. as it's already night time , I think you should stay here . There are rooms with well functioning bathrooms . I often stay here . " I said showing her the way towards a bedroom where she can stay.
" Really ! It's amazing how everything looks usable here . It doesn't even feels like a abandoned castle ! As if someone is living here & taking care of it everyday . " She said looking around. Though there is not much to see in this part . Long corridor with 3 rooms at the end . But the walls have designs & paintings . It was mainly made for those vampires who doesn't live in The Blood Forest . The impure blood vampires. They are the kinds who drink human blood & refused to follow Taehyung's rules. They mainly live far from this land but sometimes there leaders pay visit if anything comes up.
I've to keep her here so that both she & the other vampires stay oblivious to each other. For some reason I felt a weird feeling about her . It was like something in me was telling me that I've to protect her no matter what. It's really weird as I haven't felt like this towards anyone. It's not the protective feeling I've for Elena but it's something else I can't put my fingers on. I really need to study her .
" Well , I guess this room will be perfect for you. " I said opening the white designer door of the biggest room among 3 .
" Woah ! Don't you think it's too good for an abandoned castle ?! And look at these designs ! Wow . " She exclaimed looking at the spacious room with skyblue walls .

It's nothing compared to the rooms inside the castle. I thought .
" I think you should rest now. I'll be in one of the other rooms. Just call me from here if you need anything. It can be heard as the building is pretty old ya know. " I said after showing her the bathroom . Another lie . The walls are too thick for a single noise to be heard from the other side but I can hear 'her' voice using my Vampire powers .
"Ok . But ... What's your name ? " She said as I was about to leave.
I mentally face palmed at my behavior. I was so caught up thinking about her not being a human that I forgot to tell her my name or ask hers.
" My mistake . I'm Park Jimin. The ro- .... Um ... A flute artist of the ... N-nearby village. " I said lying on my teeth .
" Oh we have same surname ! I'm Park Aera . An architect as I said before. " She said smiling.
" Nice to finally know your name , Aera . Take rest . " With that I closed her door & cast a spell so that her human smell doesn't spread . When I was done , my stomach growled . I thought of teleporting myself direct to the kitchen but then I remembered , Aera hasn't eaten either !
" Um ... Sorry to disturb but do you need anything to eat ? " I asked Aera peeking through her door. She was startled by my sudden appearance but then said that she had enough food & water with her so she didn't need any. Even she asked me if I wanted to eat some from hers ! I had to come up with another lie saying I left some food on the other room last time I came here , so I'll be ok . With that I left her room. Hope others won't find out about her before I got to know what actually she is .
