HOLY CRAP GUYS BOOK 15 IS OUT!!!!!! I can't resist doing a rant about all the good things in Flames of Hope, so here we go! A list of ten of the best things I can think of about Flames of Hope!!!
!WARNING! SPOILERS AHEAD! DO NOT READ IF YOU HAVE NOT READ BOOK 15! SKIP TO THE END INSTEAD.
(This list is not in order.)
1. A new addition to the cute club of dragonets!!!! - Dusky is just the cutest! I love him so much, and I'm so glad Tui added him to the story!
2. No one amazing dies! - Tui didn't kill off any of her more beloved characters, thank the Lord! I was terrified she'd kill off Moon or Qibli, and destroy Moonbli, but she didn't! Whew! (My friend is kinda mad that she didn't kill off Moon, but I don't share her opinion.)
3. More Lynxter material! - Winter was being heroic in Lynx's memory, trying to save her in a pretend game when they were dragonets! Isn't that just adorable?
4. JAMBU'S TRUE LOVE!!!!! - We finally get an insight into the love life of Jambu! (Honestly, my subconscious called that he was gay. Nice job subconscious.) Pinebu is ADORABLE and I cannot help but melt at this statement: "I need more Pineappletime." SQUEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!
5. New humans!!! - Raven, Ocelot, and Axolotl are amazing additions to the series! My favorite is Axolotl, simply because they are a bookworm like me!
6. "My brain words" and "Words of my head" - I just totally melted when Luna thought about how Swordtail and her have this secret little catchphrase about how they are thinking the same things! I'm totally using "My brain words" with my friends now!
7. Lizard/Freedom - Imma call her Freedom. I had mixed feelings about her at first, she seemed super selfish and bratty. But she had a hard life and never learned empathy. The only family she ever knew was that terrible Cottonmouth. (Fitting name for a bad guy btw.) She deserved a little grace, and Luna and Dusky were happy to give it to her.
8. I love how Wren and Sky just casually mention stuff that only they know about, and all the other dragons are super confused!
9. The Scorching - I love how they finally went in-depth explaining this crucial piece of dragon history in book 15! (I hope I'm not the only one who has been wondering "what the heck happened during the Scorching?")
Ten already? *sigh* Saved the best for last.
10. BLICKET!!!!!! - It explicitly says that Blue loves Cricket! Luna even invited her into their little family! MY SHIP HAS FINALLY SAILED PEOPLE!!!!!!
The only way to make this book better, in my opinion, is to make Glorybringer sail. Sadly, that has not happened yet, but if another book comes out IT WILL SAIL.
For those who have not read it yet: READ IT! READ IT! READ IT! I give it 1000000/10! Definitely recommended! (Honestly, if you don't want to read it, why are you reading this book in the first place? It's for Wings of Fire fans!)
