The Gate To The World

1st person POV:

The Football Frontier International, an event that every football player dreams of. And today, it's time for me, my brother Terumi and two of my teammates to join the stadium to see if we are chosen as Inazuma Japan's members.

"I can't wait to see if we're chosen!" I squealed as we were making our way to the bleachers.

"Calm down, little angel." smiled my big brother, Afuro Terumi.

"Imagine being this excited and finally not a part of the team." teased my best friend Heruse Arisu, also known as Perseus.

I stuck out my tongue at him and as we were about to begin another of our childish fights, Posei Donji, also known as DJ, stopped us, reminding us that we had to go if we wanted to see who's chosen.

"I've got to say (Y/N), even a blind person could see how excited you are right now you know." smiled my brother.

"Don't you are too?! I can't wait to see if we're going to be in the team! I mean it's a life occasion to travel around Asia and even the world in addition to play soccer against the world!!" I shouted while happily leading the way. "Plus, I really hope that we are going to be on the team, that would be so fun!"

"I hope so too" said Terumi before chuckling at my excitement.

"Say captain, who is going to be in the team in your opinion?" asked Heruse while sitting down on his chair as we finally reached our places.

"Only the Gods knows!" was all my brother responded, smiling.

"I have a felling that one of us is gonna get chosen." I mumbled while thinking of who could it be, it would surely be Terumi I thought.

"Well I'm sure it's not you." joked Perseus.

"Not you neither then!"

"Calm down you two." growled DJ to what we shut up instantly, making Terumi chuckle once more.

"Everyone please, focus on the main screen! Coach Zhao Jin Yun will now reveal the representatives!" yelled the commentator, bringing the attention of everyone on the main screen.

I gripped onto my brother's hand, apprehension taking the best of me. He only smiled a reassuring smile at me and gently rubbed his thumb against the back of my hand, calming me a little and as doing so, I focused back on the center of the field where was coach Zhao Jin Yun who laughed before pressing the button which launched the announcement of the chosen members.

"I AM IN THE TEAM?!" I screamed, jumping from my seat.

"Well played girlie, you're qualified!" cheered Perseus while ruffling my hair.

"Bring honor to Zeus team (Y/N)." spoke DJ, greatly delighted that someone in the team was chosen but not showing it.
