💖Chapter 6💖

Brad's POV~
I was in a meeting ,paying attention to the presentation that was given by one of the company's that we are in a  partnership with MYG.Corp .
Mr.Miniappolis:"That concludes our presentation ,I hope you will be taking these ideas into consideration as these are what we see as the future of Conley Corporation."
Brad:"I'm sorry but I don't think we will be taking these ideas into consideration." Everyone around the table looked at Brad with faces of shock as they thought that the ideas that were given were brilliant.
Brad:"Cause I approve of them ,these are brilliant ideas that ,will take Conley Corporation forth and income of profit will increase as we implement them soon " Everyone's facial expressions  went from shocked to happy .MYG Corp 's CEO and his colleagues bid the rest of me and my colleagues a good day as they stood up and left the meeting room .My father ,who was sitting next to me looked at me with a smile .
Brad:{gasp} "Howard Conley is smiling "
Mr.Conley:"I'm just proud of my son he made a good decision today and for  a better and profitable  future for  the company "
Brad:"Who are you and where did you dump my real father's body???"  Mr.Conley looked at Brad in a weird way.
Brad:"What ?,I never hear you say that your were "proud of me "that's all ,I thought i was never good enough "Mr.Conley let out a breath before talking .
Mr Conley :"Look I was so hard on you cause I wanted to prepare you for this corporational world ,I needed to learn you that even if I don't take note of how brilliant you are or even say I'm proud of you I always  took note at how brilliant  and how intelligent your work was .How you seem to easily manage anything and there was no situation that couldn't be controlled  if you weren't there ,that's why i chose you as the new CEO of the company ,you have brilliant management  skills ,you can make good decisions in which will effect the company positively ,and your brilliant mind will take this company forth,I am honestly so proud of you son "Brad looked at his father shocked as he has been waiting for those exact words for years and finally he received them,he felt that as if all the hard work  from the years has paid off .Brad stood up from his seat signalling his dad to do the same and he opened his arms and hugged his dad .He father patted his back and for a moment ,Brad felt something that he never felt before .Was it love?,joy or just a heart attack of all the stress .Whatever I felt it felt good like I felt overwhelmed or something .We  pulled away from the hug .
Mr.Conley:"Can we get back to what  we were before I don't like this lovie-dovie stuff"
Brad :"Yes please i felt a strange feeling in my stomach that I never felt before "
Mr. Conley :"Butterflys ?" They both at each other and burst out in laughter .Mr.Conley left and bid Brad a good day and said "see u later " As Brad was about to walk out of the  meeting room to he received a call from Paul ,
On the call~
Paul:"Hey little bro--
Brad:"Don't hey little bro me ,where were you ???,you were suppose to be here and you weren't ,I really needed you here"
Paul:"Oh GOD,please spare this sad fest look I didn't feel well and plus how would it have been if I was coughing throughout the presentation ,huh???"
Brad:"It would have been disturbing"
Paul:"Exactly ,no stop being so sensitive damn you sound like you were about to cRy now ,you little baby and hurry we all waiting here at the tailors "
End of call ~
I can't believe this guy hang up on me .Brad then left the meeting room and walked into an elevator ,he  pressed the button of the first floor and the elevator went down as soon as the elevator finally stopped Brad walked out of the elevator  as it's doors slid open ,he then walked out of the building and jumped in his car ,driving to the tailor.

Time skip~
After 20 minutes of driving Brad finally arrived at the tailors shop .He parked his car in front of the shop and climbed out closing the door behind him .He then walked towards the front door of the shop and  opened it wide seeing his friends he hasn't seen in years .Jamie, James,Kai,Richard and Diego all his friends were there along with his brother standing in suits as the tailor made adjustments .He walked in and all the talking went still all their attention were on Brad .Brad walked in closing the door behind him and everyone walked up to him ,smiling and they all bro-hugged .
Everyone of Brad's friends:"long time no see Brad "
Brad:"Yea I've been busy but woah don't you guys look like classic gentlemen "
Diego:"Imma classic man "
Jamie :"You can be mean when you look this clean "
Kai:"Nah I'm not classic more like I'm Bond,James Bond" They all looked at each other and then at Kai and burst out laughing .
Richard&James:"You just know when to light the mood ,oh Kai" As time went on the tailor showed Brad his suit and made adjustments and in a few minutes all the men were in their suits .
Brad~

And his groomsmen~

After a few minutes of modeling in their suits and fighting over who is the more handsome .They finally undressed and paid the tailor and left .They all went their separate ways and Brad  went home to pick up Maddie to go to the brunch.

Maddie 's POV~
It's about to be 11 and Brad is not here yet ,I need to get his parents on my side but how ...i ended up pacing up and down through the living room ,somehow ended up with  a packet of potatoe chips in my hand .Somehow i lost and placed the packet somewhere in the house. Wait OMG Maddie I could you have forgotten ,Paul will do that for you he will make sure that their parents won't be against the wedding and try to manipulate Brad into not marrying me ,he already has one person doing that and that's me .As I was still in my thoughts the door open and Brad walked in .
Brad:"Ready to go "
Maddie :"Nah I just got dressed and did't eat at all cause we are  going to have brunch which is basically breakfast at lunch "Brad looked at me confusingly.
Maddie:"What's the use of you having a brain when you can't tell I'm being sarcastic ,Yes im ready let's go " She grabbed her purse and with Brad walked out of the house closing the door behind them .After 15 minutes of driving they finally arrived at the restaurant .They walked in and Maddie was met with  glares from Brad's parents but not any from Paul ,she happily death glared right back at them .They then took a seat at the table and greeted .
Maddie :"Good morning Mr and Mrs Conley "
Mr and Mrs Conley:"Ah yes good morning Maddie "
Mrs Conley :"Maddie??? Wait I thought he was bringing Shauna "
Brad:"Mommmmmm"
Maddie :"I think you need some glasses to see old lady cause your eyes are not working correctly "
All of them stares at Maddie like what the hell did you just say .......
