A week or two had passed, Anna was showing, and it was time to think about baby names. Anna and John were talking again and were speaking of baby names. John said since we had one named after him then, they could name one after Anna, boy or girl. Anna thought of something better... She said... what about Jane for a girl? John says, Jane, why that's my mother's name. Anna nodded. John said what if it's a boy?... Albert? Anna says that's my brothers name and John smiles. Anna says... it's a deal. They kissed, and loved each other all night.
The couple was so excited, that they couldn't wait to tell every one and they started with Mrs. Baxter, Andy, Thomas, Mrs. Patmore, Daisy, Mr. Carson, Mrs Hughes, and the rest of the downstairs staff. Then Anna asked Lady Mary if she could tell everyone upstairs. Lord and Lady Grantham were so pleased that they actually came downstairs to congratulate the two.
They went home and had a warm cup of tea together and smiled the whole time. They kissed each other good night and went to sleep.
