Chapter 19: Reaching the Tower

I watched as the two clones grabbed and jumped in the air before spinning around. " Twin fang over fang!" One of them said as a giant spinning cyclone came my way.

'That quite a combined justu the two made.' I thought, jumping out of the way of the incoming cyclone causing it to collide with a tree.

"Nice try, but you got to better than that, " I smirked before making hand signs.

"Ugh," She groaned, shaking off the effects of hitting a tree along with her canine partner still transforming into her.

"Wind Style: Great Breakthrough!" I said in my head as I opened my mouth and released a powerful gust of wind, knocking her down before she could stand back up.

"Let's see how you handle this!" She shouted as she and at with on all fours getting ready to claw me in my face.

"Fire Style: Fireball justu!" I said, opening my mouth and jumping back as I spit a fireball at them, countering their incoming attack.

"Again and over, fang!" She shouted as she and Hiro both began spinning toward me.

"Using the sound technique will get you nowhere," I stated, sticking my tongue out, grabbing a tree branch, and swinging out of the way.

"What kind of justu was that?" Haru asked, looking at my tongue as I let go of the tree.

"Not of importance to you, but guess you can say it's a family thing," I replied, studying my opponent's stance before making hand signs for my next move.

"Wind Style: Great Breakthrough!" I said, sending another powerful gust of wind from my mouth, sending them flying back into a tree along with Hiro.

"Looks like I'm done here," I stated, watching Hiro turn back into a small black puppy laying next to a panting Haru. "I'm not interested, but you have decent fighting skills," I said, looking at her before checking for the scroll in her pouch.

'Nothing must be on the guy Tsunade was fighting since he seems to be the leader.' I thought, looking over at Tsunade, who cracked her knuckles as she punched pretty beaten-up Menma knocking him out.

"Well, it seems you took care of him," I said, walking over towards Tsunade. "She didn't have the scroll, so either he does are the other one," I stated, looking at Menma and then over at Jiraiya, who was panting after finishing off his opponent as well.

"I check his pouch," Tsunade grabbed Menma's pouch."You the same over there as well, Jiraiya, if you finish fighting."

"Sure," Jiraiya picked up his opponent pouch but then paused and looked at Tsunade."Hey, wait a minute, what do you mean if I'll finish with my fight?" He asked.

"It means what I just said, you fool!"

"Alright, let's just get the scroll and head towards the tower before they recover or another team tries to ambush us," I stated.

"Rights good idea, let's go; looks like the arrogant Uchiha had the scroll. It's a heaven scroll," Tsunade said, holding up the scroll.

"Fine, but only because I'm ready to get out of this forest, not because you said so teme," Jiraiya replied, looking at me, annoyed that Tsunade agreed with me instead of him.

'If he wants Tsunade respect. He should use his brain more and stop calling her flat chest.' I thought as my teammates and I made our way toward the tower that was in view.

"Oh, just be quiet and just focus on walking the tower, not too far away," Tsunade said, hitting Jiraiya on the head.

'They're both a pain to be around at times.'  I thought, shaking my head as we continueed the rest of the walk to the tower in silence.

After reaching the tower, they enter one of the many doors and enter an empty room. As soon as they enter, a cloud of smoke appears in front of them.

The smoke cleared to reveal their sensei dressed in his hokage robe. "Congratulation, you three made it with three days left," He said, smiling at us. "Those it looks like you could use some medical treatment, so head to the infirmary, and then you rest in one of the many rooms until the exam is over."

"Yes, sensei," We said.

"I take the scrolls now. You three go get looked at, then get some rest," He said, taking the scrolls.

"Come on, boys, let's go," Tsunade said.

"Yeah, we're coming flat chest," Jiraiya said.

"I'm not flat-chested!" Tsunade shouted, hitting Jiraiya on the head.

"Hey, don't make my injuries worst," He sated.

"Oh, dobe wouldn't happen if you just kept your mouth shut," I groaned, following them to the infirmary.

"Those three still need to learn how to work as a team," I heard Sarutobi-sensei said before he disappeared.

'I guess he's right. We do argue with each other often but have been able to get along at times.'
