Y/n's POV:

After leaving Treyni and the two other Dryads to ponder on my question that I left them I decided to learn a few more skills that War Priestess had suggested to me until it was time to return.

"Notice: new skills acquired;
• Magic sense
• Hide Pressure- a skill used to hide immense bloodlust.
• First kill (passive)- every time a new enemy is killed, magicules absorbed is doubled.", I was informed by the familiar voice of my skill. With nothing else to do I sat down on a fallen tree, closing my eyes, and tested my new skill Magic Sense.

After a few seconds of silence, the skill activated and I was suddenly bathed in a surge of warmth that began to expand outwards. Opening my three (f/c) eyes I could see even more than what I felt before from the tiniest detail, the sound of children laughing, rocks crashing down a mountain and as I looked down at my feet I could see the roots of nearby trees snaking their way under ground.

Thinking back on what I had said to Treyni I had felt somewhat bad but then again I remembered how much I had suffered before just letting people take my kindness for granted and in the end my life had burned to ashes. So in this new life I won't be offering my help without getting something in return.

"Notice: it is almost time to meet with the Dryads.", War Priestess had alerted me as I stood up from the log and made my way back to the meeting point.

Finally getting to the meeting point as the moonlight above reflected off my chitin blade, opposite me in the clearing was Treyni who once caught sight of me began to shake in visible fear not daring to look up at me.

"I'm surprised that you're here, unless you never left.", I joked though with my new voice Treyni seemed to take it seriously as she stuttered again.

"N-No m-my Lord. I h-have been thinking long and hard about your question.", she began, " I-I have struggled to think of what I may offer you but the best I have come to think of is to offer you ruling over a part of the Jura forest."

I didn't expect that, to offer a part of the forest that they manage is an interesting reward yet can I get more...

"Hmm, it's a start but land is just earth if there's nothing with it.", I spoke wisely.

"Notice: the unknown skill T_____ ___l_ has revealed some information, requiring a vast amount of materials the collected resources can __\{|~< and —);@?' Your army.", War Priestess had alerted me.

"If you are able to offer me a requested amount of resources after this disaster I shall help you.", I bargained.

Her reaction was a mix of conflict and eventually acceptance as she kneeled in front of me and rested her head on the ground.

"If that is what you demand then as Dryad to the Great forest of Jura shall heed to it.", Treyni complied.

I began to walk towards her shivering figure that didn't dare to look up at me, I reached down towards her and lifted her off her knees raising her chin to look me in the eyes.

"A Dryad as beautiful as yourself should not be grovelling in the mud. I have accepted and so I shall help you but first the key to win all battles is information. Where shall we start?", I asked the now lightly blushing Dryad as she quickly nodded her head before offering a place where the information exchange shall begin.
