It was the Snow ball, you looked everywhere for Eddie, after looking you decided to check outside.
There he was.
Sitting on Steve's car, the light above only shining on him.
"Hey" you said softly not trying to scare him.
He stopped what he was doing to stare at you.
He moved his stuff out of the way so you could sit next to him.
You sat next to him.
He didn't say anything, and he was avoiding eye contact.
"Why aren't you in there?" you asked,
there was a small silence then he answered,
"There's no point of me being there" he said still avoiding eye contact.
You hummed as a response.
He looked down then looked at you.
You looked back at him making eye contact.
He looked away quickly, making it seem as if he wasn't staring at you.
You giggled which made him smile a little.
There was a bit of silence till you said something.
"You know that's my favorite song" you said looking up at the stars, the Snowballs music fading from outside,
He looked at you and then the stars,
"It's a nice song" he said quietly,
"Yeah" you said smiling, he turned and noticed your smile
He looked down,
You turned to look back at him confused,
"I uh, I have to go" he said grabbing his stuff
"Wait.." you said hoping he'd listen, "shit" you thought, he was already walking away
You got up and ran after him trying to catch up with him
"Wait!" you pulled on his shoulder to grab his attention
He turned around only to be looking down
You sighed,
"Why can't you look at me?" you said in a worried tone
There was a bit of silence
"Eddie, did I do something?" you said in an even worried tone.
He still didn't say anything,
"Eddie what hap-" you got interrupted by a pair of soft lips.
It was Eddie's...
He slowly grabbed your waist, as you put your hands on the back of his head,
Brushing his hair with your fingers,
He slowly pulled away,
"I-I like you y/n.." he said in a shaky voice,
You pulled his chin up to look at you
His eyes were watering,
You smiled and brushed his teary eyes, "I like you too Eddie"
His face warmed up when you said that, "You do?" He questioned,
"Yes, I do in fact..I love you" you said smiling
"Shit.." he said in a shaky voice, his eyes filling up
Looking away so you don't see his tears
"Awww don't cry" you said slightly giggling,
You pushed his face into your shoulder and hugged him tightly
"I love you too.." he said sniffing in a muffled voice.
