Chapter 2

So guys I'm really made because I had three chapters all typed up and then I published one and the other two went away :( So I'll start over on those :P okay well thanks for reading lovies!! :) xx ~Amanda

Niall tells me a joke as we walk into the cafeteria. I start laughing along with him then realize that everyone is looking at us and snickering to eachother. I ignore it but I see from the corner of my eye that Niall is looking nervous.

Niall splits off to go sit with his friends and I continue a bit farther back in the cafeteria to where my friends are sitting.

"Hey Lulu!" they say when they see me approaching the table.

"Hi guys!" I say

"So what's up with you and Niall?" my guy friend Ian asks.

"Well he..." I trail off as I hear someone yell behind me. I turn around to see a group of jocks walking up to Niall. The group was led by Zach aka the worlds largest douche. He was a joke, if anyone stood up to him, he coward. Hey, if a butterfly stood up to him, he would run and hide.

"Hey Niall!" he yelled "I see you got yourself a girlfriend! How much did you have to pay her?" With that my mouth hit the floor. How could anyone be so cruel? Zach's buddies all pat him on the back for his 'genius' comment.

I set down my books and started to walk over to where Zach and his posse were beating up on Niall but my friend Ali grabbed my wrist. "Lulu, there's nothing that you can do! Trust me."

I pulled my wrist out of her grip and began to make my way over to them again. "No, Lulu! Stop!" Ali yelled from behind me but I ignored her.

Zach now had Niall backed up against the wall. Niall looked terrified with Zach up in his face like that. I had to do something! I shoved myself between Niall and the bully so I was right up in Zach's face.

"So, your girlfriend had to cone and save you? How sweet." Zach smiled sarcastically and touched my cheek.

I slapped his hand away from me and mumbled to him. "If you EVER hurt one hair on this boy or anybody else in this school, you'll have to answer to me."

I saw his smile waver a bit and I knew I had gotten to him. "Feisty. I like that." he whispered to me.

I took both my hands, put them on his chest and shoved him away from me. "Go away Zach no one wants you here."

"Oh I think it's quite the opposite. I don't think anyone wants you or your little gay hobbit here." My eyes widened. That was one of the cruelest things that he could have said about Niall. I heard Niall choke up behind me like he was going to start crying at any minute. I could not let him do that. No. Not in front of everyone! I had to get him out of here and fast.

I glared at Zach. "Think? Ha! You don't think, Zach, you do." I walked closer to him so I was right in his face now. "And you know what I'm going to do? If I EVER see you touch one hair on this boy, or anyone else in this school for that matter, I'm going to talk a little trip down to Mr. Tepe's office." Mr. Tepe was our dean of discipline. We got along really well so he would listen to what I had to say.

I saw Zach look nervous "You wouldn't." he growled.

"Try me."
