we were going to hogwarts in the express I was sitting and chatting with crabbe and goyle about the death eaters when the trolly lady came
"Anything from the trolly, dears?" she asked as crabbe and goyle got up
I got up with them "a packet of drobbles" crabbe said
"licorice wand" goyle said
I was about to order too but then I heard "two pumpkin pasties, please" I looked at the person and it was may with genna in the back
I smiled at her as she did too. May got her pumpkin pasties "thank you" she said and took a last look at me and walked away and I could hear genna giggling
"Anything sweet for you, dear?" The lady asked me
"O-oh no, I am not hungry thank you" I said and sat back down smiling at the thought of what happened last night
many days passed and triwizard tournament was held and potter being potter obviously was the spotlight
professor mcgonagall had announced that the yule ball will be held on chirstmas eve and only 2days are left to chirstmas eve and I still haven't found a partner
we were in potions class writing about potions
"bloody hell, I still haven't found a partner" I sighed
"good for me, longbottoms asked me out" genna cheered
"ugh, I guess we four are gonna be single" I said looking at crabbe and goyle who were coping the writings and may who had almost completed
"Nope, I asked out one of the patil and she said yes" crabbe said
"No way, the another patil said yes to me!" goyle cheered as I looked at them in shock
"good for you" I heard may sigh and I sighed with her
I noticed genna eyeing me ask may out
"but hey.. may, you're a girl" I said awkwardly
"glad you noticed" she said as she looked at me
"well then will you come to the ball with me?" I said and she squinted her eyebrows
"um, I mean it's only me and you left.. so?" I explained it to her not making it awkward and weird
"sad for you but someone already asked me out" she said and got up and gave her book to professor snape
I looked at her in shock
She came back to take her bag and said "and I already said yes, bye" she waved and walked out as I sighed
"she must have lied to not to go with you" crabbe said and laughed
"yeah lol" goyle laughed
"well now that you've said it.. it could be that" I said and continued writing
It was the day of the yule ball and in 20 minutes it would be 8pm
I was paired up with cho as she had no partner too
I saw that granger was with krom
"where's may?" I asked crabbe
"probably crying in her room coz she has no partner" he laughed and walked away, I sighed and looked down
"she's so beautiful" I heard cho "yeah she is" I said thinking about may
"look at her!" many murmers where heard and she had the spotlight
I turned and looked at her.. and was shocked It was may, I had never seen her like that
She always had her hair up but today she had pulled down her hair and was wearing a perfect dress fitting her body in the color of red

cedric digory came forward and took may's hand and pecked it
She giggled and waved at me and walked away with cedric
I had fell in love with her again, the first time was when I saw her in the train
she was dancing with cedric while I was sitting near the drinks
she came out of the crowd with him as he whispered in her ear and pecked her hand again
I had this some sort of feeling taking over me and somehow I was angry upon her
"hot, isn't it?" she came and sat beside me
"cedric is gonna get drinks, do you wanna join us?" she asked me smiling
"no, I don't wanna join you and cedric" I spat at her
"why are you angry?" she asked me sort of annoyed
"he's dramstrang. you are fraternizing with the enemy" I scolded her
"the enemy?! besides the whole point of the tournament is making international friends" she said and rolled her eyes but I just scoffed
"I think he's got a bit more than friends on his mind" I scoffed and she just got up and walked away
I was walking towards the dormitories with may while arguing with her about cedric
"he's using you!" I sighed
"how dare you?! besides I can take care of myself!" she said angrily
"I doubt it. He's way too old" I said looking at her
"What? That's what you think?!" She spat
"yeah, that's what I think" I simply said and continued to walk
"Well then, you know the solution, don't you?" she said coming in front of me
"go on" I said
"next time there's a ball, pluck up the courage and ask me out before somebody else does and not as a last resort" she said at the verge of crying
"Well, that just that's just completely off the point!" I said and took the stairs to the dorm while she just stood there
"they get scary when they get older" I whispered loud enough for her to hear
"Draco! you just spoiled everything!" she said and sat down on the stairs crying
