YOURE WHAT???||A Starlight x Sunburst fanfic

Starlight, talk to me. (Cadences POV)

I noticed how Starlight hadn't eaten anything during breakfast this morning, she cut the food and moved it around on her plate, no one seemed to notice but me, it was around 12:00 by now, Shining was making lunch, I slipped upstairs to talk to Starlight, I knocked on her door, "Starlight? Is it ok if I come in?" I asked, "Yeah thats.. fine.." I heard her mutter, I walked in and shut the door behind me, sitting next to her on her bed, I asked "Starlight are you feeling alright? You didn't eat anything this morning." I looked at her concerned, "Oh yeah! I'm fine, just been sick lately.." she replied back, "Sick?" My mind blocked up with concern, "What type of symptoms have you been having?" I asked concerned "Nausea, headaches, tiredness, loss of appetite, I've been using the restroom alot more, my periods late-" I cut her off "Starlight when was your last period?" I asked, she thought for a moment "I think it was February 14th-17th? Why?" She replied back to me, I knew it was a dumb question but I had to ask "Starlight did you ever have the sex talk?" She nodded, (A/N: I think yall know where this is headed guys) I looked at her "Starlight stay here I'm going to get something" I said, standing up and rushing to my bathroom, I dug through a box and picked one of the tests up, shoving it in my pocket and walking back to starlights room, sitting back down next to her, "Starlight do you know how a pregnancy test works?" She nodded and took to from my hand, she walked to the bathroom to take it, I anxiously waited on her bed. She walked out, tears in her eyes and her hands shaking, the test facing down, "Well? What did it say?" I asked, I suspected a positive due to her reaction, she hesitated but it slipped out, "P-positve.." she muttered setting it on her nightstand. I stood up and hugged her, "Aww congrats!" Turns out her tears were happy, which made me happy, "Starlight your gonna have to eat a little extra now, for ya know, your soon to be kid or kids" she nodded and we went downstairs for lunch, I'm not sure when she'll tell Sunburst but she'll probably tell him before their wedding next week.
