A/N: Pirate Nightmare and Mermaid Killer AU.

"I'll be back in the evening." Nightmare said as he jumped off the boat and walked through the shallow waters and headed into a island. His crew sighed and Horror complained, "Why in the fuck does captain come here almost every week?! What does he do here anyways?!" The others just rolled their eyes and did their daily tasks and smoked tobacco or drank bottles of alchohol.

Meanwhile with Nightmare, Nightmare was running towards the otherside of the island for an important meeting for him. When he got to his destination he panted, then he removed his clothes except for his shirt and shorts. Then he walked closer to the water and started to call for someone, "Kills? Kills? Where are you?"

Then a certain mermaid heard the call and excitedly swam towards the shallow waters, Nightmare walked in the waters and then stopped and called one last time "Kills? Where are yo-" then a mermaid jumped on him and both of them fell on the water. "Nighty, your back!" The mermaid happily said and Nightmare chuckled. Then both of them kissed passionately and parted.

"Of course I came back, I could never leave you." Killer giggled and got off Nightmare and he swam to a deeper part of the sea, Nightmare swam after Killer and both of them swam to different places and played with each other. The secretive couple would steal each other's kisses from time to time and both of them would share an embrace here and there.

The couple had been together for almost a decade, and to add up their relationship is "forbidden", well land folk and mer folk thought that a land person and a mermaid can never be together, mer folk were also hunted by pirates and sold in very high prices. But the couple proved the thought wrong, but It was dangerous for the mermaid if Nightmare's crew ever knew about him.

After an hour of playing in the waters and under the scorching sun, the couple decided to take a break in the shallow waters. Nightmare sat down criss cross apple sauce in the water and the water reached his waist, Killer sat on top of Nightmare's lap and rested his head on his chest. Nightmare sighed and wrapped his arms around the mermaid.

Both of them stayed like that for a couple minutes, "Night?" Killer asked, Nightmare replied with a hum and answered "Yes my pearl?" "Can you visit me thrice a week please and not once a week anymore?" Killer requested, Nightmare thought for a second and replied happily "How about four times a week?" Killer giggled and said "Yay!".

The two couples then kissed each other and then an axe flew right at them, but missed. It hit the sand below and the couple turned to see who threw the axe, to Nightmare's surprise and Killer's fright, Horror, Dust, and Cross was standing there looking pretty shocked. Nightmare quickly let go of Killer and stood up in a protective stance.

The crew couldn't believe It, they saw their boss... kissing a mermaid. "WHAT THE FUCK ARE YOU GUYS DOING HERE?!?" Nightmare yelled, Horror's expression changed and he fought back "WHAT ARE YOU DOING WITH A MERMAID?!?" Nightmare growled and Killer cowered behind Nightmare.

"YEAH! WE COULD HAVE BEEN SWIMMING IN MONEY!" Dust said, Cross just stood silent. He was only shocked and he also wasn't against their relationship neither did he want want riches either. Nightmare then barked "IT'S NONE OF YOUR FUCKING DAMN BUISNESS! YA' WAN'T ME TO THROW YOU OUT OF MY CREW OR WHAT?!" Everyone was silent, then Killer spoke up "Night?.. wasn't that a little too harsh?" Nightmare sighed and replied in a completely different tone "I know... just, I was mad..."

The people in front of the couple were shocked, they had heard stories about mermaids and how they are viscous, cruel, and ruthless. But Killer was different... he stood up to Nightmare for them. Nightmare faced Killer and crouched down and Killer gave him a hug.

"I'm sorry..." "Me too..." Dust and Horror apologized, Nightmare and Killer looked at them and Killer smiled, "It's ok, just... don't kill him..." Nightmare said. As he caressed Killer's cheek, "Now I know why we come here every week." Cross said and Nightmare added "Yeah, now you know..."

"I always come back to my precious sea shell..."
