"Are you excited for the feast tonight, sister?" My sister, Aurora De Martel, asked me.

"I believe it won't be much different then the others, sister" I said as I watched her pull out a dress and lay it flat on my bed.

Lucien had told me all about my life. I was the youngest child of the Count De Martel. I have a older brother, Tristan and a older sister, Aurora. Our mother died when I was only three so I don't remember her. My father loves me very much. When the months get cold I am sent away to a warmer land til the winter passes. I still have my illness and have been sick since birth. I enjoy, reading, sword fighting, arrow shooting, riding horses and being outdoors. Apparently that doesn't sit well with my father and brother as they wish me to be more ladylike. My sister isn't all that fussed on it, she just worries for my health.

Tristan and I butt heads alot. I don't like his way that he deals with servants when they get in to trouble and he doesn't like that I put myself in dangerous situations and considers servants and commoners in the same class as us.

Besides that I get along great with my family. The only thing i had to learn was how to speak, act and dress like a noble women. Luckily I have Lucien and Aurora.

"I know what you are thinking, Harper" I heard Aurora say.

"And what might that be?"

"Off you go. Lucien will be returning a bit before dusk with more guests. Tristan is far to preoccupied with making sure everything is in place. As long as you are back before dusk, he will not notice"

I smiled at Aurora before I got up and hugged her. I did hate having to go to these stupid parties. Tristan forced me to stay next to him or Aurora and father would show me off. I was no beauty like Aurora but nearly everyone in the land knew of my kind heart and that brought attention.

I ran from my room and down to the stables where I was meet with a stable boy.

"My lady" he bowed.

"Hello Joshua, would you mind saddling my horse for me?" I asked at fetched my riding coat and put it on.

"Of course, my lady"

Once my horse was saddled, I made for the gate. Once the gaurds had let me through my horse made in to a fast gallop.

I had been on my horse alot so she knew where to go without me having to lead her.

After riding for a bit we finally made it to the clearing that I had found.

It was surrounded by trees and shrubbery with a small creek

It was surrounded by trees and shrubbery with a small creek.

When I was here I felt like I was in a dream. I couldn't help but think how much Nik would like to paint this forest.

I missed them terribly. Poor Finn would be scared from what happened and probably blamed himself. I prayed that they were all doing well and that Elena and Jeremy had been told what had happened so they knew not to worry so much.

I couldn't help but wonder if they were trying to find away to get me back. How was I even here though? I feel like myself. I have told Aurora what had happened, after making her swear not to tell a soul.

She found it so had to believe that I was from a different time and had been inlove with vampires. She had watched me be born and took care of me as a baby and a child. When I told her that I didn't remember any of that she started crying. Luckily though she promised to keep my secret and we talked about the Mikaelson brothers at night in my room. My sister now understands why I don't agree to have a suitor. My heart belongs to others.

I must have fallen asleep as I woke up to my horse nudging me with her nose.

"What is it, girl?" I asked.

She stamped her front left hoof while neighing and turning her head to the right.

I look at her confused and got up. I stroked her nose and looked to where she was pointing.

An open carriage was heading towards my home. I could easily make out Lucien at the front of the carriage as he held on to the reins. He was talking to the people behind him.

I couldn't make out their faces, but they just seemed familiar.

"Good girl" I said to my horse and jumped on to the saddle and pushed her towards the people.

Seeing as how they weren't moving fast, we didn't need to gallop to catch up to them.

"Lucien!" I called out.

At the sound of my voice he pulled the horses to a stop and everyone turned to look at me.

I nearly fell off my horse when I saw who the people in the carriage were.

The Mikaelson family.

"My lady. What are you doing out here?" Lucien asked once I was close enough.

I couldn't turn my attention away from my mates. I couldn't believe that they were here, but they looked different. They all had long hair and were wearing medieval clothing but the thing that got to me the most was the look on their faces.

Kol and Finn looked the same but a bit more... free I guess. Elijah looked more youthful and more in charge. Rebekah also looked much more youthful but it was Nik that struck me the most. He looked more youthful and more. . . Innocent, carefree, childlike. I couldn't find the right word, but he was not the Niklaus I know.

"I felt like taking a ride before the feast" I responded while still keeping my eyes on them.

The brothers all seemed in shock while Rebekah just looked between us with confusion. If it wasn't for the confused looked on her face I would have thought that they couldn't believe they had found me, but I then realised what was happening.

They don't remember me

"Your brother will not approve. . . My lady, these are the Comte du Guise's children, the lords Finn, Elijah, Niklaus, Kol and their sister, the lady Rebekah. My lords and lady, this is the youngest child of the Count De Martel, lady Harper" Lucien introduced us.

It took everything in me not to jump on them and hug them to death.

"My lords and lady. It is a pleasure to meet you all" I politely said as I moved close to them and bowed my head to them.

Elijah, who was the closest, took my hand and kissed the back of it while maintaining eye contact with me.

'A gentleman as always I see' I laughed in my head.

"A pleasure to meet such a beauty" he said with a soft smile.

I blushed and smiled back at him.

"My lady, we must get you back. The night air will be setting in soon" Lucien said and I finally tore my eyes away from my mates.

"Alright Lucien" I said as I kicked my horse softly and Lucien whipped the reins and we all started moving again.

I looked back to my mates to see all of them smiling at me. I couldn't help but smile back.

'Wait til I tell Aurora'
