My hand hit the wall as the warm water fell on my skin. Looking down as my forehead lay against the wall I watch as droplets from my eyes mix with the water going down the drain. Letting out a sigh of exhaustion I turn off the water, ringing out my hair or any leftover water from my stress shower. A slight tingle coursed through my body, telling me that we should shut down for a while and get some sleep. Both for my physical state and mental state.

Wrapping a towel around my body I brush out my hair, taking all the time in the world. Once my hair was somewhat combed through I dressed in a nightgown. Walking into my bedroom I find the two girls making themselves a bed on the floor. Chewie sat on Tatum's pile of blankets, making it harder for her to finish her bed. Every few seconds she would argue with the dog, but all he would do was just stare at her.

"We thought," Sidney starts. "Maybe we will be better having more numbers against him, strength in numbers. Did you know that? So we will be sleeping in the same room together. You move to the kitchen at night, we move to the kitchen with you."

I smile at her as I crawl under my covers, which Sidney held open for me. She tucks me in tightly, patting my head like what a mother does to a small child. Chewie left Tatum's pile of blankets and found a place at my feet. In turn, Tatum finished her bed, also crawling in it.

"We checked the house twice to make sure everything is locked up. Plus we have weapons under our pillows, just in case," Sidney said as she rechecks the window that I was at hours earlier, fighting Ghostface. My eyes linger on the spot he was standing before speaking, "I just wanted a normal high school life, a normal life in a new town."

"And you will," Tatum sits up. "I will- We will make sure of that, okay?"

"Okay."

Sidney turns off the lights before finding her way to her bed. Letting me and my own thoughts finally process the things I had to deal with tonight.
