THE WIND WAS strong in Queens as a few people dressed in all black could be seen in a cemetery. The occasional chirps of birds could be heard around as they flew, even in the strong wind. The sun was hiding behind the clouds as it shined tried to shine through and on the civilians of Queens, but it couldn't.

The demeanor in the cemetery was full of sadness, devastation, grief and even a little bit of anger that only came from one out of the two Osborn siblings. People all dressed in black trench coats were lined up as they spoke with the priest and also wanting to give their respects to the death of Norman Osborn, hoping they would be able to speak with the Osborn siblings as well.

However, the Osborn siblings could be seen just a few feet away from the coffin their father was in, Harry having an arm wrapped around his sister's shoulders as they stayed in a devastated silence. The leaves were flying by them as the wind blew, blowing around in Y/n's hair, but she didn't seem to care as she stared at the ground beneath her with sad eyes.

Guilt was filling her veins at the moment, not only from watching her father die and not doing anything about it, but guilt because she had been fighting her father this entire time and wished she could've done something to stop it all. Meanwhile, Peter was slowly walking up behind his two best friends, announcing his presence.

"I'm so sorry, guys. I know what it's like to lose a father." Peter tells them.

"We didn't lose him. He was stolen from us. One day Spider-Man and Spider-Woman will pay. I swear on my father's grave, Spider-Man and Spider-Woman will pay." Harry declares, making Y/n tense. "Thank god for you, Peter. You're the only family Y/n and I have."

After that, he releases his arm from his sister's shoulders and gives his best friend a hug, both boys patting each others backs before Harry pulls away, beginning to walk to the car by the side of the street.

Seeing his sister wasn't following, the boy gives her a curious look, to which she tells him she'll be there in a second before turning to Peter who was already looking right at her. Gulping, she steps forward and wraps her arms around him, to which he immediately hugs back, wrapping his arms around her waist.

"What am I gonna do?" Y/n whispers in a shaky voice. "I can't stop thinking about him. I don't know what I'm--"

"Hey, hey." Peter softly interrupts, cupping her cheeks. "You'll be okay. I'll be there for you every step of the way. I promise. I'll always be there to protect you."

Y/n shakes her head, sniffling a bit. "I don't need protecting."

Peter shrugs, caressing her cheeks. "You never know."

The two stare into each others eyes that were full of love and adoration before they both found themselves leaning closer until their lips met halfway. Y/n's hands came up and softly wrapped around his wrists as his hands still cupped her cheeks, their lips moving in sync together.

Eventually, they were slowly pulling away from one another, resting their foreheads against one another's gently, their breaths hitting each others faces as the wind blew by them, Y/n's hair flying around a bit.

"I-- I love you, Y/n Osborn." Peter admits in a whispers.

Y/n gives a small smile. "I love you too, Peter Parker."

Softly, Peter presses a soft peck to her lips before they were both slowly pulling away. Their hands brush against one another's, the tips of their fingers lingering before Y/n was stepping away and walking towards the car where Harry was in.

Peter was watching her the entire time, meeting her e/c eyes once again before she got into the backseat of the car where her brother was sitting in. As they begin to drive off, Y/n Osborn peaks through the glass of the window, seeing Peter Parker's figure before they were too far for her to see him.

Leaning back against the seats, the Osborn girl looks down at her gloved covered hands, catching sight of her wrist and the spider-web indented into her skin like it had been ever since she was bitten by the spider.

This was her gift. Her curse.

But she'd get through it...

Because she's Spider-Woman.
