"Are you doing this to piss me off?" Javon hissed angrily, holding up Jaden's Instagram post in his face. "Why are you and Ophelia hanging out?"
"Why aren't you and Ophelia hanging out?" Jaden flung back, continuing to play a game on his tv.
"Because she..."
"Let me guess, she doesn't like you?" Jaden asked rhetorically. "She wouldn't shut the fuck up about you." Javon stared into space in puzzlement. "Yeaaaa. Stop being a pussy and talk to her."
"I can't." Javon stated simply, Jaden gave him a scowl.
"Why can't you?" He groaned. "Literally why I don't see the issue at this point."
"Nova." Javon muttered. Jaden dropped his controller from his hand. He scoffed in disbelief.
"Nova?" Jaden laughed breathlessly. "Grow the fuck up, why would Nova care?" Javon bit his lips hesitantly. "Exactly." Jaden added, picking up the controller again. "You made everyone hate her just for you to run off?"
"I tried talking to her." Javon started. "At the party, but Nova walked in, then..." Javon continued as he got lost in his own words.
There was a moment where he remembered who he truly loved. It wasn't Nova. Ophelia, she was the one. He had known she was the one, but just took it as a joke and put it at the back of his head.
"Hello?" Jaden waved his hand around in Javon's face. "And then what dumbass?"
"Uhm." Javon stuttered, rubbing his eyes lightly. "She didn't take it well." Javon spoke bluntly, the embarrassment took a toll on his body as he sighed softly.
"So you're just gonna give up on her?" Jaden asked, Javon opened his mouth to respond. "You need to talk to her at some point, Javon."
"I will."
