Insulting man

AN: Sorry I have not been updating, I was picked up by a tornado and landed in Hawaii. Had to take a bus all the way back home. 

"So this is the kitchen area, feel free to help yourself to any of the food." You said as you opened the door to let Fenhua through. 

It's so weird. It's like I named a child. I am just calling this man Fenhua. It feels weird, but as long as I can use him to be my little ticket out of here and to my sister, then I couldn't care less. 

Fenhua walked in hesitantly, scanning the area and seemed to be debating what to do. 

You were still holding the door, observing Fenhua as he wondered around. Not noticing the extra audience outside. 

"Y/n. Are you hungry at this hour?" You heard Kazuha speak from behind you. 

Your hair stood on your arms as you turned to face him. Noticing he was with the man you were originally arranged to marry. "Oh.... Kazuha.... and...." you met eyes with the older man.  You tried to recall his name, but nothing came to you. "Um, what are you two doing around the kitchen at this hour?" 

Kazuha tilted his head, "I just asked you that.." 

The man then suddenly pushed Kazuha aside and stepped towards you, "Since you are so curious, i'll tell you." He huffed, you could smell the damp aroma of his breath, "My appetite was ruined knowing that my bride to be was already engaged."  

You could feel Kazuha's worried expression from behind the man, but were too frustrated to stop speaking, "Listen here old man, I didn't want to marry you from the start. Engaged or not engaged... this," you motioned to the two of you, "wasn't going to happen." 

The man's face heated up and stepped towards you. You couldn't help but squint a little in preparation. When suddenly, Fenhua came back from inside the kitchen. He was holding a bag of small candies in one hand and a piece of bread in his mouth. 

You stared at him, not knowing what to do now that the man and Kazuha saw him. 

The man stepped away from you and turned to face Fenhua. The dark haired boy didn't move as the man walked up in his face. "Are you the fiancé?" 

"Are you harassing her?" Fenhua asked. "Is this your home?" 

The man hesitated, "You are the fiancé aren't you?" 

Fenhua gave a disgusted face as the man spoke. He coughed slightly as if saying the man's breath smelt. Which; to you it did so you don't blame him. However, this angered the man.

Kazuha noticed his discontent and reached for the man, "Sir, it's late and you had too many drinks. Please, let's head to your ro-" 

The man flung his arm out of Kazuha's reach and grabbed the bag of candies out of Fenhua's hands, ripping it open above Fenhua's head. 

Gasping you ran over and in front of him, glaring at the old guy. "Some guest you are! How dare you treat my fiancé like that?" 

Kazuha realized things would get out of control and ran off, most likely to get help. Fenhua groaned and walked up to the old guy. "Do you know who I am?" He asked threateningly. 

No I don't know you are. Wait, your stomach churned, Does he remember who he is? 

The man rolled his eyes and stared down at Fenhua who was already throwing a punch straight to his face. Knocking him back a few steps. 

"Oh my!" You yelped as you watched it happen. The man's shocked expression made Fenhua grin as he walked back into the kitchen. 

"I am reporting this to Lady Ningguang immediately." He said, "A lady of her stature is bound to realize her mistake in letting you wed this rapid and disgraceful boy."

You scoffed as you watched him walk away,"Yeah you can't talk!" You shouted back after him. 

Fenhua walked out of the kitchen with a new bag of candies, stared at you, and started to walk back up the stairs. 

You shook your head and followed after him, "Where are you going?" 

"Back to the room. I got my food."

When the two of you arrived at the room, Ganyu was sleeping on your desk chair. Fenhua watched at you placed a blanket over her. Noticing his gaze, you turned to meet his face. "Oh, thank you by the way. For standing up for me."

He raised an eyebrow and snarled slightly. "Standing up for you? No no. He was annoying. I was putting him in his place. How dare he insult me." 

He's acting like he's all high and mighty, but... doesn't look it. 

"You could just say 'you're welcome'... Instead of acting like a snot." You replied. 

Fenhua sat down, ignoring what you said and ate from his candy bag. 

You walked around, contemplating where to put him for the night. 

If I keep him here.. in my room, that would start rumors since he isn't married to me. But if I put him in another room, he might run away. 

Fenhua's eyes followed you as paced back and forth. "What?" you asked, loosing your train of thought. 

"Where is my room?"

"You can sleep here." 

He shook his head. "I feel disgusted just being in the same room as you. That's how I know we aren't engaged." 

Sighing, you bent down and grabbed his shoulders. He attempted to move away, but you held your ground. In a stern voice, staring him down,  you said "Listen here. I don't have time for these demands you have. You were much better when you had your memory. You liked staying in this room. So like it now." 

Fenhua didn't move, only kept the disgusted face. "Get away from me, you swine." he mumbled. 

You rolled your eyes and stood up. "We should talk more about what to do in the morning. If you want to leave, then you can. But I do not know where you would go." 

"Any place is better than here." 

You laughed, "Yes, with no food and water. Sounds amazing." 

I'm not actually going to let him go. To make him stay here for the night would give me time to plan new things to say to him that would give reasons to stay. To stay and wed me.... This is going to be rough. 

Fenhua was taken back from the no food and water thing. As if he had never thought of that. 

"Rest here for tonight. Me and Ganyu will sleep somewhere else." You said as you shook Ganyu slightly to wake her up. 

"You're just going to leave me here?" He asked, "With no change of clothes?" 

You rolled your eyes as you helped the sleepy Ganyu off the chair. "Come on girl." you said as the two of you walked out. "Good night, Fenhua." 

After the door closed, Ganyu yawned, "Fenhua is here still?" 

"Yeah. Hopefully he'll be here for a while." 

Long enough to leave and head to Liyue to find my sister.
