I take my seat next to my father. A stern look on his face. He worked hard to get me into a school. Harder than any other parent in this room. Because I am a girl and Welton Academy is an all boys school. Why my father wanted to send me here is a mystery there are plenty of all girls schools scattered around Vermont. My thoughts are interrupted by the loud sound of bag pipes. Boys make there way down the isle some holding banners others with bag pipes. The all look like they are either in pain or suicidal. Except for one. One looks a bit constipated.
After the boys say the four pillars, the head master who is known as Mr. Nolan starts talking. "Now I assume that all of you know that Welton is an all boys school. However... I would like to welcome one of our newest students Mrs. Y/N Y/L/N." The room goes silent then I hear a boy say. "A girl at Welton!" Mr. Nolan nods. And motions me to stand up. I slowly stand and feel everyone's eyes on me. I hear a few Wolf whistles and a few whispers. I quickly sit back down.
I find my roommate Knox Overstreet. "Hey! Welcome to Welton Academy. Our dorm's this way." He motions across the court yard. "I'm Knox Overstreet." He says, I shake his hand, it's a bit sweaty. Two boys walk by us. "Hey Knox! You got the girl eh?" Knox nods. The brown haired boy laughs. "Lucky." The other boy is silent. "That's my friend Neil, his father is an asshole." I nod and continue walking with Knox.
