Adora grabbed her bag and made her way to the stables. There was Swift Wind, snout buried deep in a bag of oats. "Swiftie, I need you." "Two way ticket to Bright Moon coming right up." Swift Wind neighed, his wings unfolding and his mane flowing in the wind. He bowed on one hoof for Adora. "Thanks Swiftie." "You owe me one. Preferably oats." Adora chuckled, "I'll see what I can do."
Swift Wind launched into the sky, the wind rustling through Adora's hair. Usually she would enjoy and savour the calming feeling, but the only thing she could think of was Catra. Catra was at home in their bedroom feeling as though the one she loved and trusted more than anyone in the world had betrayed her and this feeling tore open Adora's heart like paper. She buried her face into Swift Winds mane as she tried to enjoy the wind in her hair.
It wasn't the same flying through the air alone.
Eventually they arrived at Bright Moon. Families ate ice cream and bought clothing from shops while some came out of salons with neon coloured hair and 10 inch nails. Adora focused on one type of group. Couples. Couples brushed their fingers through their partners hair and kissed each other lovingly. All Adora could think about is how she wished that were her and Catra, but it wasn't. At this point, Adora wanted to go home and curl up into a ball and die, but not before she had a way to fix this all.
A store caught her eye, Victoria's secret. She walked into the store and was hit by feminine perfume and the color red. Lingerie swarmed the store, from neon bikini bottoms to sexy black leather, but only one thing caught her eye.
