The sky above me draws closer and closer, as the Earth below my feet shrinks. I'm not looking down, only forward. I'm tired of looking down — after all, I've done that all my life.
I wonder, what is he thinking? What is George thinking, right now? What about the others? What are they doing? Are they watching me? Are they happy? Are they sad?
I hold on tight, my arms and hands gripping as hard to the ███████ as I can. I fold my wings tighter over my body, and ███████, fighting back the wind pushing against me. I'm not letting go, no matter what.
. . .
Human life is precious, isn't it?
That's something I would have never thought I'd hear myself think. A year ago, I would have never thought that. But since then I've changed. I've changed a lot.
Humankind is not designed to be happy, or much less to even be content. Contentment is a threat to survival. And so, dissatisfaction is only human nature.
We find difficulty and dissatisfaction with what we have in our present. We long for more, for something else, never really savoring what we have right now in this very moment. I know I've gone my whole life taking that for granted.
But often, all it takes is one shove to push our minds in a different direction — one shove that will change our perspective of life, and the world, forever. Whatever strife it is, that's all it takes for us to realise the fragility of life, and just how important we all are. But it shouldn't take that. It shouldn't take difficulty and pain and suffering for our eyes to open to the delicacy of our world.
I breathe in, letting the air rush to my lugs. Everything I've ever done has led to this, hasn't it? My faults. My wrongs. My experiences. My accomplishments; the people I've lost and the friends I've made, it's all led up to this sacred moment.
Yes, life is precious. Life is unique. Life holds so much value it cannot be described with words. I live to love, and I love to live. I wouldn't give anything to have it any other way.
Life's own divine purpose is for humankind to find purpose. Every human has a purpose, regardless if its big or small. Whether it's significant or not, everybody has a goal. It took me a long time, but I've found mine. This is my purpose.
Today, I will disappear, but I won't disappear alone. I won't disappear without reason like I did before.
Today, I will disappear with the whole world watching me. The whole world will stop spinning and the people will stop walking and the cities will stop breathing.
I will disappear with a story, with forgiveness; with love, with freedom. This is my world, my fate.
This is my redemption.

A/N !!!
HEEELLOOOO ALL! Youly's back with another brand new mcyt series!! WOOHOO! If you've read my works you most likely know me from Mirai SMP, and if so then you might already notice the similar plotlines hehe lol. I recently watched the anime 'Platinum End' and figured it would make the perfect dsmp/mcyt au considering Mirai SMP got so big!
I'm doing things a little different and have decided to incorporate MCYTers specifically from the dsmp (so that way you guys know most the characters!). Hence I've written this in Dream's POV!
Anyyways, moving onto the warnings:
-------------------------------
WARNING: THIS STORY WILL INCLUDE...❧ Suicide
❧ Angst
❧ References to depression (not heavy)
❧ Death :)
❧ Shipping ?
-------------------------------
Like my other works, I will try not to base this story exactly off the actual anime's plot. I obviously will add some twists and changes so it will differentiate from the anime!
Annyywayss, I have no idea how well this will go, or whether this will be a complete flop or not xd regardless, I hope you guys will enjoy! All the support is appreciated - if you guys enjoy the first few chapters, I will definitely continue!
(Oh, also note: I may not be uploading chapters suuuper dooper fast since I'm currently in my last year of school so workload is a lot!)
