This is set during the six months of Lee Yeon's absence.

"Hey, Ms. Hong can I ask you something?"

"Sure."

"How come you already have a family but you don't have a ring on your finger?"

"What?" I asked looking at the nurse who spoke, a little shocked at her sudden question. "What made you think I have a family?"

"Oh, so you don't? I always assumed the guy who often picks you up was your husband and that little kid who always comes running to you was your son. Am I wrong?"

"I-It's not like that..." I nervously started but I honestly couldn't find the correct words to continue plus I didn't feel the need to correct them. We were acting like a family after all.

"Hey, look at my fingers," A doctor spoke up showing her right hand. "I've been married for twenty years and I haven't worn my ring since... around after a year of our marriage. Now stop slacking off and could you go visit Room number thirteen?"

She commanded the nurse who asked me that question and thus she was unable to receive an answer.

I let out a chuckle as my back hits the soft cushion of the chair and let both of my arms dangle. The telephone ringing, the scribbling of pens, and the footsteps of each individual were so loud in my ears, that all I wanted was a good night's rest. The soles of my feet were hurting from standing up and walking, that being said I opened my eyes and furrowed my eyebrows.

I have never felt this tired in my entire life and I couldn't help but doubt myself.

Am I becoming human?... It can't be.

That was a big chance considering I have stayed clean for a while.

Have I lingered with the humans for too long?

"I'll leave first," I informed the remaining nurses as I grabbed my purse and left the room when they acknowledged me.

Because of I tired I was, I should have just teleported back home the moment I stepped out of the hospital, had I not seen the little boy running towards me with a big grin and his arms wide open. Behind him was Lee Rang who shut the door of his car.

"Suho, what are you guys doing here?" I asked picking him up.

"I missed you." He replied nuzzling his head on my neck.

"We were supposed to go back home but he wouldn't stop begging me to pick you up," Rang added as he walked towards us before looking at me intently. "You're... exhausted?"

It came out more of a question than a statement. I could only nod, it was indeed rare for me to be this tired over something.

"I know what can help... Can we go eat somewhere delicious?" Suho asked looking at Rang. He gave him a tired look before averting his gaze at me with a question that I answered with a shrug.

"Fine," With that, he took Suho off me and led us both to his car where he started to drive us to a restaurant.

Blood.

"Are you hurt?" I asked him. I had my eyes closed for a while for wanting to sleep but with how strong the scent was, I couldn't help but wonder.

"Don't worry, it's not painful." He replied while I sighed. These past few weeks, he would come home with cuts and I couldn't quite tell why he needed to fight to get information. But I guess that's just his style.

"Maybe we should go home and rest."

"Too late, we're already here," He said turning over and parking the car. "You're paying though."
