Ebony's P.O.V
I walked through the corridor of the building I had worked in for as long as I could remember. There was no sound apart from the clicking and clacking of my black stilettos on the marble floor. To say I was nervous was an understatement. My boss had called me in to discuss a new job opportunity that had opened up for me. I was a top sports writer for a big newspaper that ran in Texas. I knocked on the door of my bosses office and walked in.
"Ebony how lovely to see you" my boss John's voice boomed through the tiny space
"Its nice to see you too John" I said as I took a seat in one of the horrible plastic chairs.
"Ebony you will no longer be doing an office job as you have been offered a place with the Toro Rosso Formula one team and you will be writing about the drivers and their relationship with each other on and off the track each week." John said sliding a, pen and a bundle of papers towards me. I signed the papers and handed them back tojohn. Then I cleared out my office and desk for the next employee. It was going to be an early night tonight as I was up early to meet Max Verstappen and Carlos Sainz in Melbourne.
When I got home I ate a couple of slices of toast and then got changed and fell into bed. All I can think about is how my new job will go. I'm really looking forward to this job. I really hope they will like me.
