I stare at my axe. Zero was laying down her head on my lap. She didn't speak much since the invasion. I hear a group of unfamiliar voices and the voices of Preston and Mat. We jump down. A human next to Mat aims a bow at us. "Mitch, they're cool." Mat reassures hugging my sister. Mitch looks at three other humans. Preston steps forward. "That's my mate Rob." he says pointing to a human in a blue hoodie. "I'm Lachlan and that's my boyfriend Vikk." A human in a red shirt said pointing to the last human. "I'm Jerome and that's my sister Zero." I say. Mat looks at Zero surprised. "I guess she told you the news, huh?" I ask. Mat nods. "I did." Zero says her voice hoarse from not talking. "They want to join our village." Preston says referring to the humans. "Mitch. Jerome still needs mate." Mat teases. We both blush. Mitch is cute. But he's probably straight. "What news?" Preston asks. We start towards the village. "Well, I'm pregnant." Zero replied kissing Mat. We stop at the village. "Here we are." I say. "Welcome. To Hybrid Village!" Zero says.
