1 year later...
"Detka, come on, you gotta wake up." Katya says soothingly, sitting on the edge of the bed in her pajamas. She gently brushes Trixie's hair off of her face.
Trixie's nose twitches and she smiles a little, wrapping her arms around Katya's middle. She pulls her down so Katya is lying next to her.
"Mmm, no. It's sleepy time." She sighs with her eyes still shut.
"No, it's wedding time!" Katya laughs, wiggling out of Trixie's grasp and standing up. She takes Trixie's hand and drags her out of the bed, pulling her along to the bathroom.
In the bathroom, she undresses her, pulling only the thin panties she wears to bed down and helping Trixie step out of them.
"Get in." Katya instructs, pointing to the running shower.
Trixie happily follows orders, stepping under the hot, steamy water watching and waiting for Katya to join her.
Katya slips off her boy shorts and wife beater, kicking them to the side with Trixie's panties and steps in behind Trixie, closing the door. Trixie runs her slick, wet hands down Katya's back to her bottom, firmly gripping a handful of her bum in each hand. She pulls Katya closer to her, and the water cascades down both of their bodies.
"If you think I'm going to have sex with you right now, you're sorely mistaken." Katya smiles, lacing her fingers together on the small of Trixie's back. "You have to be ready to leave when Violet gets here in 40 minutes."
"That's more than enough time." Trixie whines, sticking her bottom lip out.
"Nope. We're waiting until tonight, for our real honeymoon. In the meantime, let me take care of you, this is your day." Katya pecks Trixie on the nose. She reaches for Trixie's shampoo bottle and squeezes a small amount onto her palm, lathering it up in Trixie's hair.
"No, Kat. It's our day. We take care of each other." She shakes her head, copying her actions, scrubbing Katya's shampoo into her hair.
Katya smiles, kissing Trixie on the lips, considering herself the luckiest person in the world. They take their time carefully washing and then drying off each other's bodies. Each dressed in comfortable clothes for the hours of more professional grooming they have left, they walk hand in hand down the stairs to fix themselves a light breakfast.
Violet knocks when they're halfway through their bowls of cereal, and Katya pushes her out the door with her bag, ignoring Trixie's protests to wanting to finish her breakfast. They share one last final kiss and then Trixie's riding off with Violet to go pick up Kim at her hotel.
"Are you nervous?" Violet asks. She finally got over her issue of not liking Trixie a while ago once she saw that she was going to say and made Katya crazily happy, and they had become good friends.
"Not really. I mean, we've already been married for like a year and a half, I don't really have the choice of getting cold feet, do I?" She chuckles breathily. "I'm a little nervous about Alex being there though, especially since he's standing up."
"Don't worry about it." Violet pats Trixie's knee comfortingly. "If he wasn't okay with it, he wouldn't do it." Trixie nods, knowing Violet is right. They pull up to the hotel and Trixie points out Kim, already standing outside, ready to go. Trixie waves her over and she slides into the back seat. They smile warmly at each other, having not seen each other since Kim made Trixie come back to Boston for Katya. She was the only friend of Trixie's from Milwaukee that was invited. Trixie hadn't bothered inviting her parents since she knew they wouldn't be fond of the idea of her marrying a woman. She didn't care though, she had Katya and that was enough family for her.
