Rosé seemed to know what Jisoo was thinking. As she put down the pillow, she found two strands of dog fur under the pillow. She picked them and gave them to Dalisay.
Dalisay stared blankly for a moment, not understanding why Rosé didn't explain to Jisoo that Rain were not allowed to touch the fur of this pet.
Rain had touched their neighbor's golden fur dog when she was a year old, and when Rosé brought her back to the house, she almost had a hard time to breath. After being sent to the hospital, the doctor said that the child was allergic to pet fur, so the child should not touch it again; otherwise, it would be very dangerous.
Seeing that Rosé didn't have any expression, Jisoo's expression turned cold, Dalisay didn't dare to speak carelessly, so she turned around and called Darna. The two of them quickly took off the couch cover and checked it.
As soon as they took it off, Jisoo walked over and held Darna's hand, not letting them throw the couch cover away. Instead, he looked at Rosé and said in a voice that was completely devoid of any warmth, "If I remember correctly, everything in this house is as it was before we got married. For the past two years, you haven't changed a single bit."
As he spoke, he took the cover and threw it back on the couch.
Rosé spun around. Apparently, after seeing his intentions, she looked at him with cold, narrowed eyes. "What if I insist on throwing it away?"
"They went to a hotel near Kim Corporation, but they didn't say when they would leave the United States, and they would probably return in two days. If the Old Woman saw that the couch cover had been replaced with a new one, what do you think would happen?"
Jisoo uttered every word clearly as he looked at her with a slightly cold look. "I've said before, after we got married, we had nothing to do with each other. Even if what you're doing now is too much, I don't want to argue with you."
It wasn't that Rosé didn't think about it, but Rain liked to play on the couch and carpet every day. She's not allowed to play here today and had been asking why.
Moreover, she also still didn't know whether the people from Kim Family of Seoul would come back again. Was the child's health more important, or was the elder's heart more important? Even if one had to treat the old with kindness and understand them, was this manner more important than one's life?
If she didn't have this consideration, she wouldn't have insisted on asking the servant to clean the couch.
But it was obvious that Jisoo had misunderstood.
Just as he had misunderstood her from the beginning, thinking that she had planned this pregnancy to trap him, and now he had misunderstood that she was now deliberately going against his family.
Rosé only glanced at him for a moment before she turned to Darna and said, "Take it out and throw it away."
Darna nodded and walked over to pick up the couch cover.
"I want to see who dares to throw it away!" Jisoo said in a furious tone and it was enough to freeze anyone's heart.
Darna's hand froze for a moment. She hesitantly glanced at Jisoo, then glanced at Rosé, then looked at Dalisay, who was standing on the side. She finally stepped back and didn't dare to raise her hand again.
Rosé immediately went to grab it and Jisoo didn't stop her. When she turned around, he hurriedly said, "If you don't like things here, you can leave. No one is going to force you to stay here, and no one is going to force you to endure these."
Rosé's footsteps paused, not moving for a long time.
Dalisay and Darna looked at each other, urging each other to open their mouths and explain the reasons to Jisoo. However, no one dared to open their mouths in such a stalemate.
Rosé placed the couch cover in the corner next to the couch. She didn't turn to look at anyone but headed for the stairs, clearly intending to pack her things and leave.
Seeing that she showed no signs of giving up or softening, Jisoo naturally knew the stubborn nature in her bones. Yet, over the years, she always listened to him and with her current attitude, he didn't know if he should be angry or say that she was doing something wrong.
He turned his body and looked at the two Filipino servants, who were looking at him. "Put the cover back on the couch."
With that, he turned to leave, not caring if Rosé really wanted to leave or if she returned to her room angrily.
"Em, Mr. Kim." Dalisay suddenly whispered.
Jisoo stopped and turned around. Seeing that the two of them had not yet put back the couch cover, he raised his eyebrow. "Why haven't you done it yet? If it can be taken down, won't it be able to be put back?"
Dalisay bit her lower lip, doubting whether she should open her mouth or not. Darna looked at the couch hesitantly but didn't move.
Jisoo immediately frowned when he saw that these two servants, who were always so diligent, obedient, and efficient when he lived here before, had now disobeyed orders. "I remember that your Chinese are very good. You should understand what I'm saying! Put it back!"
Darna froze for a moment before she turned around hesitantly to look at Dalisay.
Dalisay became anxious and stomped her feet. She rushed forward and stopped two meters from Jisoo. She bit her lip and said, "Mr. Kim, this couch cover must be replaced! Madam is only thinking for the sake of Miss Rain's health. She has no other intention but to protect her own child!"
The frost in Jisoo's eyes gradually disappeared, replaced by a confused look. He frowned and looked at her. "What? If you want to say something, say it clearly. Don't hesitate to say it."
Dalisay took a deep breath and said, "Miss Rain's health has not been very good since she was born, that's why Madam has always taken care of her very carefully. When Miss Rain was a year old, she had a serious allergic reaction. Pet fur and her difficulties in breathing almost caused her fainted that night. Madam was so scared and she immediately brought Miss Rain to the hospital. The doctor said that Miss Rain couldn't touch the fur of any animal, no matter how clean it is. Otherwise, there will be unexpected dangers. Miss Rain's allergic reaction to pets is very, very serious."
"Allergy?" Jisoo turned his head to look at the carpet that had been cleaned and the couch cover that had been placed there.
He frowned slightly as he lifted a small strand of fur on the couch. He even thought about how Rosé insisted on cleaning the place.
"Yes, Miss Rain is allergic to the fur of these animals." With Dalisay taking the lead, Darna, who was slightly timider, also came over and whispered.
"Since the child is allergic to dogs, why didn't she tell the Old Woman?" Although Jisoo's words were neither warmth nor cold, his cold expression had softened.
"Yesterday, when Madam came back with her child, the Old Madam had already brought the puppy. Besides, Mr. Kim, your parents..."
"Mrs. Kim insisted that the Old Woman liked dogs and treated the dog as a treasure. Madam had only asked where the dog came from, but the Old Woman was already dissatisfied. I think Madam doesn't want to make your family uncomfortable, so she didn't say anything. She just kept telling the child to play in the room and not to come out, but the Old Woman and Mrs. Kim felt that Madam didn't want the child to be intimate with them and kept berating on her."
