Since it was Sunday, Rosé didn't set the alarm clock and she didn't sleep well at night, so she slept until around 8 am with Rain in her arms.

When she woke up, she felt a burning sensation in her hand and immediately opened her eyes. Rosé quickly looked down to see Rain in her arms. She was still curled up, asleep, but her face was flushed.

Rosé placed her hand on Rain's forehead, touched her body, and immediately sat up. "Rain?!"

On the other hand, downstairs, Darna and Dalisay were cleaning the house in the morning, as usual. Suddenly, both of them heard frantic footsteps coming from upstairs.

Before Dalisay could ask a question, she saw Rosé, who was wearing a coat, quickly carrying Rain in her arms as she descended the stairs. Dalisay and Darna quickly went towards her. "Madam, why are you–"

"Rain has a fever again. Her temperature is very hot. Last time, the doctor said that if she has a fever again, she must be sent to the hospital on time. Dalisay, you know how to drive, quickly take the key to my car and drive us to the hospital."

When Dalisay and Darna came towards her, Rosé immediately passed Rain, who was tightly wrapped in a blanket, into their arms. It was as if she had forgotten about the pain in her ankle, and she was only urging them on.

"But Madam, your ankle ..." The two servants knew how serious the fever was for Rain, but at the same time, they worried about Rosé's ankle too.

"I'm fine. It's just that I might not be able to drive for the time being. You're driving while I'm sitting in the back." With that, Rosé immediately put on the sleeves of her coat, and without bothering to change into her pajamas, she walked out.

As they led Rain out the door, a dark gray Mercedes drove in. Chanyeol frowned at the sight of Rain wrapped in a blanket.

"Rain has a fever." Rosé didn't know why Chanyeol would come to her place in the early morning, but she didn't have enough time to explain. She just glanced at him before going to her car.

"We go in my car." Chanyeol immediately went to support her without saying anything. He lowered his head and looked at Rosé's feet. She was wearing slippers. Seeing that her ankle was wrapped in gauze, but there was still a great swelling, he raised his head and looked at her worriedly. "Your ankle is very swollen, yet you are still running?"

Seeing that Rosé didn't care about her injury, Chanyeol didn't say anything. He signaled to Dalisay and Darna to take the child to his car and immediately help Rosé.

Chanyeol drove faster than Dalisay, and he was very stable. Rosé didn't say anything because the important thing right now was her daughter's condition, so she followed him to the car.

As they walked, Chanyeol looked down at her feet. "Can you hold on? How did you get downstairs?"

Rosé didn't say anything. She just opened the passenger door with one hand and was about to get in when she heard an engine sound of another car.

They both turned around and saw that Jisoo had driven back at some point. Chanyeol's car blocked the entrance to the courtyard, so his car could not enter. At the same time, the door was pushed open from the inside. Jisoo glanced over and saw Chanyeol was helping Rosé into the car, with his hands on her waist.

He walked over and put one hand on the roof of the dark gray Mercedes-Benz. He looked at Rosé with a serious expression. "What happened to Rain?"

Rosé didn't think that Jisoo would suddenly return at this time, or rather, she didn't think that he would return at all.

She only glanced at him once. She originally didn't complain nor hate him. From the look in his eyes, it could be seen that he was truly concerned for his daughter.

Rosé suddenly felt like laughing.

Jisoo promised his daughter that he would stay, but he didn't come home all night. Rain cried in her arms for so long last night, probably because of the recent weather change and because she cried too much, her body became unwell.

She quietly looked at him but said nothing. She went with Chanyeol and helped herself into his car, closing the door.

"Mr. Kim, Miss Rain suddenly had a high fever. The doctor said that it was dangerous for Miss Rain's body. She must be sent to the hospital immediately!" Darna didn't dare to be negligent and immediately answered for everyone.

Jisoo immediately frowned and reached out to hug the child. "Give her to me!"

Darna was stunned, but she still let go of Rain.

The moment Jisoo took over Rain, who was sleeping soundly under a blanket, Rosé became furious and was about to get out of the car to take the child away. Chanyeol just stood next to the car and watched Jisoo take the child to the Bentley.

"Jisoo, do you know what disease the child is suffering from? Do you know which hospital you should send her to?" Chanyeol's eyes were a little cold. Although his deep voice didn't have any threatening pressure or anger, it was clearly a bit arrogant.

"If it's like this, where else can we send her to if not the city's Children's Hospital? You think I'm an idiot?" Jisoo glanced at him and then carried the child over his arm and walked away.

"Jisoo! Put my daughter down!" Rosé knew that the most important thing right now was to send Rain to the hospital as soon as possible. She didn't want to delay any longer, but she suddenly opened the car door and got out.

Chanyeol supported her. "Be careful."

Jisoo glanced at them. Seeing the patience and undisguised concern for Rosé in Chanyeol's eyes, his thin lips slightly pursed. He seemed to know that the sudden early morning situation might be related to last night.

Jisoo didn't say anything and didn't want to delay his daughter's rescue. He just held his daughter firmly and walked quickly to the car, putting the child in the backseat.

Only then did Rosé realize that there was a child safety seat in the back seat of his car.

Was the chair installed yesterday or before he returned this morning?

No one told her the answer. After Jisoo had settled Rain down, he went to the driver seat and drove off in a cloud of dust without delay.

Rosé extended her hand to stop him, but it was too late. She just took a deep breath and suddenly felt an inexplicable bitterness hidden deep in her heart.

"The experts at the Children's Hospital are all on good terms with him. It's good that he sends the child there first. Get in the car, I'll take you to the hospital." Chanyeol patted her back gently, supported her with one hand, and advised her in a gentle voice.

Rosé knew of Jisoo's influence in Boston. The pediatrician at the city's largest children's hospital was a long-time acquaintance with Lisa and Jisoo. Previously, she was able to get those experts to treat Rain because they owed her brother a favor. Now that Jisoo had directly brought her child over, those people probably wouldn't dare to be negligent even more.
