Jennie may not believe her words.

Jisoo never made her feel cold. Even when she was still young, the reason she was so upset with him was because he always bullied her. That kind of passion was simply heaven-angering.

But today, in front of the hospital, the cold and heartless Jisoo was a stranger to Jennie.

What Rosé said was right. Only she really knew him very well.

Could it be that Jisoo, who has a wild smile on his face, but was actually cold and had a ruthless heart, was the real him?

Rosé suddenly pulled Jennie's hand while smiling. "Forget it, sister-in-law. The sea wind is too strong here. You are pregnant too. Let's not stay here anymore. Come, accompany me to drink milk tea."

Jennie said nothing and just quietly accompanied Rosé. They both seemed to have seen through each other's thoughts as they both smiled and went to a nearby tea shop and ordered two cups of regular milk tea without additives.

When they were sitting, Jennie immediately asked, "What other plans do you have?"

Rosé smiled. "I'm waiting."

"Wait for what?"

"When my heart is truly numb from the pain, when I am tired of this love, when I no longer love him." Rosé smiled as she bit the straw, as if she was talking about someone else. Her eyes were curved and her entire body exuded a kind of tenacity that belonged solely to her.

Perhaps everyone didn't really know her. Although Rosé always showed a strong appearance on the surface, but Rosé in front of her now was so fragile that she would collapse if the wind blew.

This tall and thin Rosé was stronger than anyone else.

Jisoo never lacked in women, but to have a woman like Rosé by his side, it could be considered a blessing for him.

And yet, he couldn't see it.

Jennie suddenly felt the milk tea in her mouth was a bit bitter. As she raised her head to look at Rosé, she found that Rosé was casually flipping through financial magazines on the table.

When Jennie returned to the hospital, before she even went upstairs, she noticed a person walking towards her.

It was a neatly dressed man in his thirties. When he passed by her, he suddenly lowered his head and said, "Miss Jennie, someone is waiting for you at the coffee shop opposite the hospital."

Jennie halted her steps and turned around abruptly. The man politely nodded to her before leaving.

Jennie looked at the man suspiciously and was convinced that she did not recognize him. Still, he looks very mysterious, as if someone sent him. He had the smell of medicine on him and from his temperament, he looked like an experienced doctor.

Jennie hesitated for a moment and looked towards the coffee shop across the hospital. This coffee shop was huge. If someone wanted to hurt her, they would definitely not choose a place like this.

She will definitely not go there blindly. Jennie stopped at the hospital's entrance and took a close look at the coffee shop's third-floor window. When she saw the recognizable figure, her heart skipped a beat and she quickly went there fast.

"You're here?"

As Jennie approached, the person who was sitting silently at the elegant round table turned around and smiled at her.

"Auntie Young-ae? Why did you suddenly come here?" Jennie asked in surprise.

Lee Young-ae, who was dressed elegantly, said with a smile, "Take a seat first."

After Jennie sat down, she said, "I came here because I was worried about you. I heard that you had a car accident a few days ago, but after hearing from many people that you were not injured, I was relieved."

"I saw Hae-jin came with Chaerin. I watched them from here. I never thought that after many years, the old fox would remain so charming. The sky is actually really blind because it still let him have a good life."

The sharpness of Lee Young-ae's tone made Jennie a little uncomfortable. On the surface, she could only smile, "Auntie Young-ae, are you trying to help my mother? So many years have passed, but my mother still has a good friend like you. She will definitely be very pleased in the heaven."

Seeing that she had changed the topic, Lee Young-ae calmly looked at her. After a while, she asked, "Jen, the white crystal necklace your mother left that year, is still in your hands?"

Jennie secretly tightened her grip on the glass on the table, but her expression didn't change. "What does Auntie Young-ae mean?"

"Oh, I have no other intention. I just want to confirm if the very important thing your mother left that year was in your hands. If it is with you, then I can relax." Lee Young-ae's expression changed very quickly.

"Is the necklace important?" Chaerin once looked for it. She looked very nervous when she asked where the necklace was. At that time, Jennie didn't answer her question but instead asked her another question.

Seeing her attitude, Lee Young-ae actually smiled happily and said to her, "Girl, you're used to playing dumb. You actually don't trust me. You haven't revealed anything about that to the old fox Chaerin, right?"

Jennie was increasingly unable to understand Lee Young-ae's attitude towards her. She didn't know if the woman in front of her was truly awake, or if she was in between a state of insanity and a state of sobriety. It was just that some of her words and her sudden warm attitude made it impossible for her to determine what Lee Young-ae was thinking.

Seeing that Jennie just lowered her head to sip water, Lee Young-ae smiled. She was not angry with her attitude at all.

Just when Jennie felt this was not right and just as she put down the glass, Lee Young-ae suddenly held her hand gently.

Jennie was stunned for a moment before she looked at Lee Young-ae hesitantly. "Auntie Young-ae?"

"Jen, it's almost your birthday, right?" she asked with a kind smile.

Jennie thought for a moment and realized that her birthday was coming up soon. She said embarrassedly, "It seems so. But there are still another two months."

Lee Young-ae nodded. "Child, since you don't want to talk about your mother and the necklace, then tell auntie how you celebrated your birthday this past few years. Tell auntie about the happy and sad things you have done. Let auntie know about you and let auntie make up for the lack of motherly love, okay?"

Lee Young-ae's hand was warm, just like her mother's. Jennie was stunned as she looked at the thin but warm hand on the back of her hand. Lee Young-ae was no longer as cold as the first time she returned from America. Her body temperature was normal now, and it seemed that she had really regained her freedom here.

Jennie couldn't understand why Lee Young-ae was locked up for so long, and why she had to keep pretending to be crazy. If she didn't pretend to be crazy, wouldn't she be able to leave as soon as possible?

Or maybe, the problem was even deeper than she had imagined.
