Chapter 20: Birthday Party

It was Y/n's birthday today, They where gonna turn 15 like everyone else. Y/n was sleeping in the most disturbing position every. Their head was hanging of the bed, their pillow on the ground supporting their bent head. The bedding hanging off the bed making it easy for Y/n to slip of at any moment. And their hands where swung all over the place. Miriam was outside the room but entered when Y/n cooed(Baby sounds🤣). As Miriam reached she freaked out, she clutched Y/n gently and tossed them back onto the bed. Y/n groaned and covered up some more as Miriam giggled and walked away.

Miriam's POV

I skid down the steps and walk out the front door. Sun was bright shining down and almost left marks on my skin. Yet it was still kind of cold and I put my hands in my pockets. While walking I pick up Abby, Priya and then Mei. Mei's Mom was cockey about her leaving home for private planning. When we got together everybody rushed around town buying and dropping and doing things to prepare for Y/n's party.

Time skip 4 hours.
Y/n's POV

My eyes are closed but I shift freezing under the sheets. It's cold and I don't want to get up so I put my hands in between my legs and begin to doze off again when I hear a loud bang and cussing. Is that Abby I hear? I will get up for this because I need not to be attacked. I slide of the bed and roll to the door, then I get up and pull my arms into my shirt. It was warmer with my body heat radiating rapidly like the sun's Ray's. Skipping big cold but carpeted steps I finally reach downstairs. It is dark and I can hear movements. I quickly dash to the light, stumbling over a few objects and then flick them on. The light blinded me. Ouch! I say in my head while covering my eyes. As I open my eyes I see Mei, Miriam, Priya and Abby smiling at me. "Happy 15th birthday Y/n!". After hearing that I remember something, it is my birthday and I had no clue in the world. Whatever. They come over and help me to the oak wood table that was jam packed with snacks like chips, chocolate, cheesecake and many other delicious foods. Including my birthday cake. Ice cream cake. Love it so much, Miriam knows I hate cake so she got me ICE CREAM cake. They let me pick what to eat first so it was obviously the ice cream cake. Priya shares it out and we eat it, because everyone had lost most of their teeth the ice cream hurt and stung. No pain, No gain, I bit it and finished while rolling around in pain afterwards. Still delicious. When I recovered I sat back upon my horribly cold metal chair hunching my back and get ready to open gifts. First one was from Priya. I open it, peeling the black, skull wraping paper away to reveal 2 manga books, one was called nichijou and the other My Dress Up Darling. You glance at Priya and then at the books in a sort of shock. I smile though, happy it was not horror and say"Thank you Priya! Your the best!. Miriam's expresions changed from Happy, loving and smiling to dark, cold and murderous. Wth Miriam???
Next gift was Mei's, She was grinning and giggling like a little kid as I ripped the red paper of her present eagerly. I had found a golden box that I quickly took the top off of and peeked inside. I saw a red panda plushie/chibi and a multicolored hood, my eyes shimmered and shined as I screeched without thinking "Thank you MEI!!!! I LOVE THEM AND YOU SO MUCH!!!". I realized Miriam gazing at me and I flashed my head back towards Mei quickly, pretending not to see. Y'all know we gon be fighting for a while after this. Mei giggled and replied "Thought you would, Your welcome N/n!".

Miriam's POV

"Thank you MEI!!!! I LOVE THEM AND YOU SO MUCH!!!" I Glare at Y/n and frown. She gives me a shocked look and pretends not to see me although she does. "Thought you would, Your welcome N/n!" I heard Mei say while I grieve at Y/n. Ugh. Forgive and forget, they are your friends and Y/n Is your girlfriend. 'Let. Her. Live. A. Little.' I say in me head

Y/n's POV

I breath while opening the other gifts, Abby had thrown her gift in my face, hurt a lot and it turned out she gave me a weapons license and a dagger, a pair of knuckles and a handgun and some sort of green power band?

The last gift...Miriam's. I have been waiting on this Moment for so long. It was a really big sparkling bag that had smooth handles, I like the bag enough to sleep in even if the gift is not good. I float up and pull the bag to it's side, making everything tillt over and spill inside. I move away the wrapping paper and pull out the first thing I can. A green and orange, sleeveless hoodie. I swooned as I ran into the bag and pulled more things out. I hug Miriam tightly and kiss her cheek. She had gotten me the hood, a crush/bff, ect. heart necklace, Anime games and movies and a lot of other things. When we were done I was sweating but still proceeded to eat/drink hot foods and drinks. Idiot.
