Seungmins picnic plans

I was doing last minute touches to my make up and hair for my date this evening with my boyfriend Seungmin. We were gonna go on a picnic in the river valley to I had to dress appropriately. The weather was great for Korean summer.

I looked in the mirror checking out my body in my jean shorts and flows white blouse. I'll pair it with my white Tom's. My hair in a braid off the side of my shoulders. Well this is as good as its gonna get.

I grab my keys and phone heading out the door of my appartment. On the way to the bus stop I was listening to the latest 3racha song keeping the happy vibes going to meet my man. Swaying my head to the music I looked out the window as all the shiny store fronts went past quickly. I'm so glad I decided to go to South Korea for university. Without it I wouldn't have met Seugmin.

My stop arrived so I took out my headphones and ran out the bus with excitement to see my boyfriend. We haven't seen eachother in a month as we were buisy with our exams. I began looking around the park. When my eyes got greeted by two arms in the air trying to get my attention.

I walked over admiring his shorts, bandshirt and grey collared short sleeve shirt. His dark hair tossed with the slight wind drawing arrention to his normally serious face. Now plastered with a goofy grin. He waddled over to me carrying a wicker basket and blanket.

" Hey dork, are you ready to find a good spot yo picnic?" I asked ruffling up the slightly taller man's already messy hair.

" I found a nice shaded area over near the water while I was waiting for you. I'll show take you there." He replied gesturing out a hand for me to grab.

I took the picnic blanket and Seungmins hand as it swayed back and forth between our bodies. The park was filled with families with young children playing in the water to keep cool on this hot summer day. Kids with water guns, moms with big sun hats while the father is trying to figure out the barbecue. There was even Kaylee and Minho splashing in the water down the line like children. Man just ge married already. Your cuteness sickens me.

" And here's the spot." Seungmin explained placing all out belongings on the soft lush grass.

My attention. Was shifted from the surroundings back to the topic at hand, and why I'm here. Seungmin. We rolled out the blanket and prepared our snack plates of sandwiches, salads, cookies and fruit. All the fixings. We both sat right beside eachother on the blanket facing the valley. Hands almost touching as they hold each of us up off the ground.

I began snacking on some of the green grapes we had brought since they were in season and extra delicious. While Seungmin was more focused on me staring at my face. It began to wierd me out slightly. So I questioned.

"The view is amazing of the river you know. You might want to remove your gaze from me. And place it somewhere more interesting." I began to be shy getting quiter as the words spilled out of my mouth.

"I don't know. The view looks pretty good from here." Seungmin because to cheer me up giving me the puppy dogs exited face that I admire.

"Hey, I'm so glad we got this date going. I kinda miss your dorky self." I joked throwing a grape at the cute face he was making earning a chuckle from the other.

" I missed you to. How was your exams? I got mainly A's and B's so im not too disspointed that I'm paying the amount for a car on my tuition yearly. " Seungmin explained after his question gazing at my outfit. " You look good by the way. Your really taking care of yourself. I love you for that."

" thanks Min, I did really good on my exams all I have left is to submit my thesis and I'll hopefully be done uni for the rest of my life." I smiled at the thought of never having to listen to another English literature lecture again.

" look at you smarty pants. I'm dating someone who will soon have a doctorate in the English language." He smiled nuzzling his nose into the crook of my neck scooting closer.

" Yeah. I'll be one of the few doctors you don't want around in a medical emergency." I joked poking Seungmin in the nose to get him off of me.

It didn't work as he wrapped his arms around my waist resting his chin on my shoulder. This is what it's like dating Seungmin. He's not a super fan of cuddles and hugs, but when he wants them. You are not aloud to leave the snuggle. I've been stuck in one of his cuddles for 3 hours once. He fell asleep. The torture.

" your right. All though I think its more likely your the one causing the medical emergency with your clumsy behavior." He retorted gaining a smack lightly from me.

We continued to finish our food and the sky became darker and most people have left the premises. We were just enjoying eachothers company. The silence not being awkward when it's just us.

Crash.

Rain began pouring on us harshly  and suddenly. So we quickly packed up our things and headed to the covered bus terminal. Splashing in the puddles on the way. Seungmin with a big goofy grin on his face, as we both get absolutely drenched. Giggles erupted on the shelter from the downpour and just the whole situation.

Seungmin again grabbed me by the waist pulling me in tight facing me peppering my face with loads of kisses. He was never this affectionate. But I do gotta admit. I love it. The bus arrived and we both hoped on. I'm sitting while my boyfriend standing beside me. Being the gentleman he is. The bus was packed from stragglers at the river stuck in the storm.

When we arrived to my place I unlocked the door and we hugged our goodbyes. Giving Seungmin a quick kiss on the lips before our parting. Right when he turned away I yelled for him.

" Hey Min. Your fired."

" what!" He replied turning around.

" from picking our dates. This is the tenth time we have gotten rained on at our dates." I giggle as he comes closer to me.

He hugs me tight giving me some more adorable kiss and and sad face before he leaves.

" fine y/n. You pick the next place." He winked back skipping out of my reach.

Man this guy is a big dork.

With that I shut the door smiling at how goofy my boyfriend is.
