A/n Real quick, it might not be the best right now because I've been behind on a ton of stuff so srry if this feels like it's rushed!

Luca groaned rolling over trying his hardest not to wake up to another day of pain enduring matches that everybody was forced to do.
✊ Knock Knock ✊
Luca tiredly rubbed his eyes sitting on the edge of his bed before yelling "ONE SECOND!" At whoever was at the other end of the door.
After a few seconds of stretching he felt a bit better and went to see who was at the door, "Oh! Heya Annie! What'd ya need?" He asked smiling.
"Miss. Dyer, wanted me to wake you up soon because we have a match in 20 minutes." The merchant responded looking though her backpack for something.
(Is that thing a backpack??)
"Miss. Dyer, also wanted to give you these! They're some pain killers, she said they would help with your headaches." Annie said pulling a bottle of pills out of her backpack.
"Thank you, I'll try to remember to take these. Also, thanks for reminding me about that! Bye-bye!" The inventor said before they both waved goodbye and he closed the door.
'Wow that's a lot to take in at once, anyways I should get ready.' He thought looking around his room, eventually his eyes landed on his circuit box.
After he was done getting ready he immediately went to his desk to work on the trinket. His main goal for the day was to try to make it give everyone a decoding boost when activated.
"AHHH!" The box exploded. Sparks flying everywhere catching a picture on fire. "Oh no no no no," he said out loud running to the picture to try and put it out.
Thankfully it worked but on the bad side, he failed to enhance the circuit box. 20 minutes passed by like seconds for the inventor and as soon as ever he was walking to the matchmaking room.
His teammates were Annie, Norton, and Victor. He popped a big grin when he saw Victor and pushed Norton out of the seat next to him to sit next to Victor.
'Hey, babe!' Victor wrote on his notepad, "Hey, Vic! How've you been doing?" He asked fidgeting with his fingers.
'I've been great so far! What about you?' He showed, "I've been good! Also are you Norton's magnets? Because I feel a connection!" Luca flirted which made Victor blush but he chuckled.
"Can you love-birds ready up and stop flirting?!" Norton said lightly throwing a magnet at Luca's head.
"Fine, fine. No wonder the only one that can tolerate you is Mike..." "What'd you just say Balsa?" Norton's eye twitched "NOTHING." After Luca replied everyone got ready and the match finally started.
'Oh god not Dark Woods.' Luca complained to himself before going to the closest cipher and making a connection between another two.
After not even getting to 30% on his cipher Annie pinged 'The hunter is nearby!' Then got hit. "Maldita sea" He said to himself as soon as he was the outline of the hunter.
(Maldita sea means damn it in Spanish idk I'm using google)
Of course it had to be Ann the one that ALWAYS carry's Excitement or Abnormal and which both pretty much destroy his abilities in a match.
He went back to focus on decoding while Annie was kiting. Two ciphers later she finally got downed and tied to a nearby rocket-chair.
Victor quickly send a letter to Luca that had the word ' Tranquility ' on it. Luca gave Wick a few head scratches before watching run back to his owner.
Quickly Norton went for the rescue right before the marker, 'Thank you!' Annie said before running to the closest cipher.
'Last cipher' Luca sighed before running to the exit gate knowing Annie was going to pop the cipher just in time.
Just as he suspected she did as soon as Victor got downed she popped it and he was halfway healed.
He started to decode the exit gate and when it opened Annie ran though it escaping. Victor and Norton both got downed 'The hunter has detention' Norton pinged.
'Sorry..' Luca replied knowing that he'd better not throw the tie to save. So he escaped while the others were sent flying on the rocket chairs.
Time skip to in Emily's infirmary
"I hope you recover soon Mr. Campbell and Mr. Grantz. I sadly need dice so I had to go for the tie." Ann apologized scratching under her cats chin.
"It's fine I guess, but it would've helped if you visited us before the match started." Norton said 'It's ok!' Victor wrote down smiling.
"VICTORRRRRRR! ARE YOU OK? DID YOU GET HURT TO BAD?" Luca yelled barging into the room running to Victor and hugging him.
'I'm fine! Look my wounds are already healed thanks to Emily!' Victor showed his boyfriend his side where he'd gotten hit. The scar could've easily been mistaken as a thorn scratch but nothing serious.
"Oh thank gods. Ok now let's go get you some rest. Thank you for taking care of Victor for me!" Luca thanked before leaving while holding Victors hand.
"Luca? Where are we going?" Victor just barely whispered, "To my room so you can rest silly!" The inventor replied rolling his eyes playfully.
After a bit of walking they got to Luca room and as soon as Luca closed the door, he tackled the postman onto his bed holding him in a tight hug.
"Luca, what's all this about?" Victor asked taking the stitches on his mouth off so it's easier to talk. "You worried me sick! I thought you got hurt really bad!" The brunette exclaimed lightly punching the others chest.
"I'm sorry love. But I'm ok now so it's ok. I'm safe now." Victor said taking Lucas ponytail out. "I know but stilllll, you need to be more cautious next time!" Luca almost yelled.
"Shhhhh." Victor shushed him by running this fingers though Luca's hair. "Fine, but what else do you do accept be sexy more than half the time?" Luca flirted wiggling is eyebrows.
"Very original I've heard that one before, Babe. Pretty sure it was from you." The blonde said having a smile going from one ear to the other. "Mmmm- Nap time." "Bu-" he got cut off my Luca "No talk. Nap time."
Victor giggled and complied laying down letting Luca nap on his chest. Not even 3 minutes later both of them were fast asleep seeing each other in their dreams.
(Along with Yidhra going in and joking around with them a little before leaving.)
