"Hey kitana, what u upto?" Mia asks, sitting on top of the wooden counter tops at her shabby cottage.

"Oh nothing much, you know im going with the crew for about two weeks right? Prolly will catch some of those tailed monsters."kitana spoke, packing her sailor leather clothings with gadget bags, pocket knives and small silvery pots on her hand sewed multipurpose baggage.

"you mean sirens? Why do u even wanna catch the awful creatures?" Mia mutters munching on an apple she found on an porch of a nearby dock, where she did small thievery.

"Its fun yk, im not like you to watch mr.bean on the worn out sofa at your shabby ol house all year munchkin." Kitana snaps back bluntly talking as a matter of fact.

"But I changed the covers just yesterday, How is it worn out! Besides I like watching that Okay! And I know how to have my own fun." Mia snaps back trustfrated at her friends remark as she lets out a scoff of disbelief.

"Yea yea whatever floats your worn out ship, by your own fun you mean doing thievery at our local market?cmon be a little less lame mia. if u really wanna prove you can have fun youll have to join me on this trip, im sure namjoon wont mind a tag along." Kitana says giving a suggestive smirk to her pale friend before silently unloading the bag from the table, dragging it with her small torso outside of the cottage, loading it unto a wagon.

"Take it or leave it sherlock, we cant stop the clocks tickin!" Kitana shouts loud enough for the girl whos now deep in thoughts of what her next actions shud be, shud she go, shud she stay, uncertainty sewed within her, ofc, anyone else would've completely said yes to that offer, but theres more to what mias side story of distance from ships were.

She decided to feed her ego by deciding to tag along with her friend for an adventurous ship trip, after all if she lets go of her self respect of having fun, she'd prolly get bullied for it for the next pending years of life by her, besides, its been a while shes been really out there.

Without missing another fish flip, mia flung her leather sea armour with gadgets, before packing a travel bag to drag along with her, popping it right on top of kitanas multipurpose travel bag.

"Took you long enough lad." Kitana snaps supporting the wagon."shut it midget." you eye rolled at her statement before continuing to walk.

Two of em best friends dragged their own luggage with them, heading as fast as they can to the ships dock before loading them on the ship carefully placing them on the peak, where the ship crew members were taking the luggage inside for safety.

"Careful! We have wine and wine glasses there!" Kitana shouts as she went to give the crew member who was holding her precious tavel bag, giving the bit careless guy a taste of her wrath.

An extremely handsome man came to the peak, holding out his hand for you as a support to climb onto the ship, which you gladly took, but cuz of the mass that had been formed on the ships peak cuz of water, you slipped and fell right on top of the man.

Cheeks coating crimson red as your brown hairlocks soaked the pool of water beside you.

You blushing was a understatement, you were fangirling over someone u met quite a few miliseconds ago.

He gently grabbed your wrist before placing his hand on one of the pool of water accidentally, supporting his hand there getting up with you and brushing off the dirty water off his hands on his torso.

"H-hi" you spoke shocked by yourself at how shy and stuttery that came out then you expected it to.

"Oh hey, im taehyung btw, new to the crew? Never seen a beauty like you before." He shot you a small wink before stretching his hand as a way of greeting.

"Yea, kitanas friend, nice to meet you, im mia." You told him taking his hand gently shaking it before bowing and walking away, escaping from that awkward encounter you had with an extremely handsome looking man.

Exploring the abruptly large ship, eyes latching onto every details, which is hand crafted carvings, encarnated pillars, small cabin doors, trapdoors that leads to probably attics and ships cells.

Staircases to climb into their rooms, and lastly, the rope used to climb the ships controle room.

You continued walking along the sides of the ship looking afar into the sea, waves of nostalgia hitting you harder than the tides as you came to a stop, a rearview of the open ocean, the salty air coating your lavender scented perfume into nothingness, flashbacks flooding your preoccupied mind, yet you didnt let your gaze falter from the ocean.

Flashback ;

"Little mia, come along now, eat with us." David, the crews captain spoke while patting the wooden barrier set as chairs to sit on.

Petrified, mia hid behind her brother, the looks of the captain and the crew scaring her, tho they were harmless, or were they?

Mias brother gently took her hand in his giving it a light squeeze before urging her to go and eat, reassurance in his motives, wanting nothing but mia to be familiar with the people he grew up with, now preferably mia will too.

"But gguk, I dont want to eat with them." Mia's little voice squeaked as she continues to hide her small figurine behind her brother, well, foster brother.

"Its alright mia, theyll not harm you, trust me." gguk gently held her shoulder kneeling down to her level as he gave her a hug before trudging her along with him to sit with the members.

They were a happy family together.

They were having, and creating many more blissful memories with each other.

Until that one night, that turned mias life upside down, may it be her losing the ones she adored.

"Mia you alright there? We've been calling you a few times now." familiar voice of an male startled you out of your trance as you finally altered your gaze from the hypnotizing ocean.

"Ah yes sorry namjoon, was a bit too lost in my own thoughts, lets go hm?" I said finally departing myself from the ships fence walking away with a nodding namjoon behind me.

"What even goes around that small brain of yours?" Namjoon asked, making you stifle a chuckle.

"Memories, many of them related to ships, seas and ocean related, so nostalgia hit me harder than kitanas blades." This time, namjoon burst out his laughter, remarking kitanas blade over and over again, I mean it wasn't a lie was it?

Reaching the ships peak where everyone had gathered, kitana engulfed you in a hug as soon as her eyes landed on you.

"I thought u bailed and ran home, you alright?" She asked knowing what effect the ocean had on mia, she just wanted her to get out of her hell hole for once, so she finally mustered the courage to make mia agree to coming along with her, she really couldnt bear seeing her so lonely at home after all that had happened in her past, tho she knows all she did was once again make the hidden wound fresh, adding to that salt rubbing against the bruise that she cant really say was healing.

"Yea im alright dont worry, been a while since I saw the open ocean and might say, the feeling isnt that bad Honestly." Mia said chuckling, making kitana stifle a giggle along with her, intertwining her hands with her before smiling softly as reassurance.

"Everything's gonna be alright."

Btw, I came up with the character mia cuz shes someone I know, I figured shed be a perfect character for this story cuz why not, I made that character as a mixture of two people closest to my heart, which is zaynah and mia.
