"Todoroki from Class 1-A. He attacked the robots and blocked the other students at the same time. Oh! What's this? The new transfer student from Class 1-A also passed using Earth and wind to break the robots in half and pass through while also blocking his competitors. These 2 are quite impressive!" Mic commentates. Mic, you're embarrassing me. Even if I get attention, I have to at least finish a high score.

"They're both smart and have excellent strategies," Aizawa said.

"As expected from the 2 recommended students. They both dealt with the robot swiftly, even if it's their first time seeing them." Mic said. Still thankful they don't know my name.

"You should probably tell them about our 2nd placer, Mic," Aizawa suggested.

"I was so excited I forgot to do that! Our second placer is Junichiro Fujimoto. He is a newly transferred student from China personally scouted by Principal Nezu. If that's not powerful then I don't know what is!" Mic said. Forget I said anything. They now know my name.

I heard some murmurs about me behind my back and some in the stadium but, I don't mind. I just continued my pace even if there's a camera pointed at me. That's what they're called according to Mic.

I heard some Class 1-A and Class 1-B managed to pass through the first obstacle. Good for them to think quickly. I then saw 7 robots in front of me.

"Is this your idea of hard?" I said and kicked the ground making a crater. The cracks started to go underneath every robot. The cracks then opened wide for the robots to get impaled by spikes. This is easy for now. I also have made a bit of a mini obstacle course here.

"Would you look at that?! Junichiro managed to break 7 robots with 1 kick while also making a mini obstacle course! Smart indeed!" Mic said as I saw a camera panned around me. This is embarrassing.

I made my way through the robots and on my way to the second course. At least that's what I think. After a while, I made it to the 2nd course.

"So the first obstacle is nothing for them. What about the second obstacle." Mic said as I saw the 2nd course. It's a very deep ravine with only a few platforms connected by a wire.

'If I go walk the wires, I'll be slow. I'd think using the earth to create a platform in between them would make me go faster. I won't use meta-morph yet." I thought as I slowly determine my path.

"You'll be disqualified if you fall. If you want to stay in the game, slowly navigate through it. The Fall!" Mic announces. Another foolish name.

I backed off a little bit and then jumped. Manipulating the side of the platforms, I controlled the earth to have some spikes coming off the side and stepped on it. I continued to make perches far enough so some people can't jump to them easily, while near enough that I can easily jump over them. I use the wind to also balance myself in case I jump too little or too far.

I sensed some people behind me while I see some in front of me as well. Seems like I'm not as fast or far ahead as I think. Then a girl from the support department whizzed past me smiling. That's actually incredible.

"Seems like a lot of students are trying their best to showcase themselves, Mr. Eraser Head," Mic said slowing down for Aizawa.

"Why slow down? Idiot." Aizawa scolded.

"Nice! The leading ones overcame it easily." Mic said as I saw Todoroki and Bakugo ahead of me. Honestly, how did I slow down? Did the route I take was a farther path? No matter, I'll just go ahead.

"Don't think I'm not here you 2. I'm coming near the top." I said but not catching the two's attention.

"Lame!" Mic said. That was mean.

"The leading ones keep on going as usual while the ones left behind are panicking. We never mentioned how many participants can get to the next round. So do your best and keep on guessing." Mic said. What's the point of saying that without actually saying how many will pass?

I then reached a very large area with circles on the ground and well, Todoroki in front.

"Good, soon, they'll find the last obstacle. It is, a vast land mine area!" Mic announced. What's a land mine? Do those explode or do they contain gold or diamonds?

"If you look carefully, you can locate the land mines. Push your eyes and legs to the limit. By the way, these are the landmines used in the arena. They are not powerful but their explosion and sound sure are. You might soil your pants!" Mic announced. I doubt that will happen to me.

"It depends on the person," Aizawa added. Thank you Aizawa-sensei.

I threw a rock on one of the circles and it explode in pink colors. I could just fly over them all but, that would get too much attention. I'm just gonna use my earth to raise some poles to jump on. Yeah, that way I can use it while also putting some obstacles and little space for them to step on.

"Okay, time to put this plan to work," I said as I controlled the ground. I made a stone stair and then jumped over the land mines. I made a pole and then stepped on it. Good thing that training in Mt. Taixuan is similar to this. I can do this all day. I made another pole and then jumped on it continuing this sequence. I felt that I was faster and yep, I was in front of some of them.

Just then, I saw Bakugo whiz pass me and onto Todoroki. He didn't target me? That's peculiar considering I triggered him.

"The first has been overtaken! Get hyped, mass media! This is the plot development that you absolutely adore." Mic shouted. Are we just money milkers now for journalists?

"More and more are catching up now. It's a stalemate now, but are both of them still leading?" Mic said. I see the 2 in front of me fighting for 1st place. I don't really care so, I'll just let them do their thing.

Suddenly a large explosion was heard just behind me. I saw a huge cloud of pink smoke and light. The shock wave didn't reach me nor the air. That was fortunate. The 2 leading people looked behind only for me to overtake them.

"You should have focused," I said as I passed them both triggering Bakugo and emitting a hum from Todoroki.

"Junichiro passed the 2 leading people and is now hopping his way in front. Meanwhile, There's a huge explosion at the back. What's this power? Is it an accident or is it intentional? Midoriya from Class 1-A rides the explosion and charges in!" Mic announced. Pretty smart of him to ride the powerful shock wave without hurting himself to gain more speed and avoid the mines at the same time.

I then got a feeling someone was behind me and saw Midoriya flying behind me.

"He overtook both of them and now onto Junichiro!" Mic shouted.

"You didn't know how to land did you Midoriya?" I shouted at him and it seemed like I was right based on his expression.

I then heard an explosion and saw Bakugo advancing toward us both. I saw Todoroki freeze on the ground to run safely.

"Both of them who were disrupting each other stopped and charged in to stop Midoriya and possibly Junichiro. They are after them both." Mic said saying something about humans after that I didn't care for.

I finished the land mine area and ran the path until I heard another explosion behind me and saw Midoriya flying past me now and onto the finish line.

"Midoriya disrupted his opponents in the nick of time and traversed the land mines swiftly and passed Junichiro in the first place!" Mic announced as I look behind Midoriya. Smart moves.

"Eraser head, your class is amazing! What did you teach them?" Mic asked.

"Nothing. It's their own competitiveness." I heard but I just focused on getting 2nd place to even listen.

"UA sports festival. First-year arena. From the way the race began, who would have expected that it'd turn out like this. Now, the first one to enter this stadium is someone called Midoriya Izuku!" Mic announced as I pass 2nd place. I heard the crowd goes wild as they were amazed by the sudden outcome.

I saw Midoriya in the middle of the stadium having tears in his eyes. Why is he sad that he won? I better congratulate him. He's been nice to me.

"Midoriya, congratulations on taking first place. Why are you crying? Do you not want first place?" I said as he looked at me.

"Thank you! I'm just so happy. Wait a second, why don't you look tired at all? I'm exhausted." Midoriya said as he looked at me devoid of sweat.

"It's a story for another time. Congratulation Izuku." I said and left him alone to bathe in the glory.

"Yes, the others slowly reached the finishing line. We will announce the ranking later. Well done, everyone!" I heard Mic say as I find somewhere to rest and focus my mind. I watched the others pass through the finish line and saw Mineta on Yaoyoruzu's back. Pervert. I try to calm down by not looking.
