"Ok, we have this one in green, blue, red, purple, and yellow," the elderly petite lady told Leo, as he smiled and jumped while holding my hand.
He whispers into my ear "should I get the yellow?" He asks as I smile and look up at the lady "we'll take all of them thank you, Leo wanna go pick out some more toys?" I ask him as he still has his mouth open as if he has seen a ghost.
"Ok" he said as we both ran towards the other aisle with Jackson clearly annoyed and walking at his own pace.
Leo and I picked out some nerf guns and other little toys. The nerf guns are for me, I plan on having a huge nerf war with Jackson, he won't even see it coming.
"It will be 3,398" the lady tells me as I smile and hand her my card, before she could grab it, it was yanked from my gasp by none other than Jackson.
"I'm paying" he said with no chance of an argument. I rolled my eyes and pushed him aside, nearly pushing him off balance.
He steadied himself as I took the card from the cashier's hand and gave her mine "hurry and slide it, or else he'll take it away again" I tell her as she nods her head and passes my card.
I smirk in victory as Jackson glares at me and grabs the bags. I smiled at the lady "thank you and have an amazing day" I told her while me and Leo moved before Jackson.
He can't and never will with me. I'm fabulous.
I sit Leo in his chair and help Jackson load the car.
"Do you happen to know any grocery store nearby?" I ask him as he looks at me and then back in front of him.
He drives off and glances back at me "we have people who do the shopping" he looks back on the road and grips the steering wheel with just one hand. His veins and rings makes me want to fuck him hear any day.
But I can't because we have a beautiful child in the back.
"I know, but I need to buy some more things you dummy, plus I have no reason to give you explanations" I look out of the window. This guy really needs to chill.
I do too, but not now.
"You are f-" before he could finish he remembered Leo was in the car and rephrased his words "you are a freaking pain in the arse" he gritts while rubbing his stub.
I Scoff "not much more than you are" He rolls his eyes and stops the car. I look around and see a little food market.
I smirk and look at him "thank you, i'll be right back" I said as I opened the door and stepped out. Walking inside I was greeted by the familiar organic smell.
I grab a little basket and begin collecting a few items. Flour, powdered sugar, butter, and other things. As I'm walking minding my own business I bump into a hard wall.
