During her training, Cinnamon was struggling at first because she didn't like the fact that there were dogs around.

I mentioned this to Michael and he smiled and nodded his head.

"She will just have to deal with it for today, and I'm sure that the staff will—

All of a sudden, we heard a loud noise coming from the other side of the room.

A German Shepard dog was staring at Cinnamon and was barking ferociously.

"No...Stay"!

The owner of the dog was trying to control the dog by holding onto the leash, while it's trainer was trying to get the canine's attention away from the tortoiseshell cat.

Cinnamon wasn't too happy about it, and she was laying down on the mat while letting the dog know to stay away using a warning growl.

I was scared that the German Shepard dog was going to attack Cinnamon, and so was Michael, who was watching carefully to see what was going to happen next.

The big dog was very close to breaking free from it's leash because he was a larger breed of canine.

Cinnamon kept on growling and then she started snarling at him.

She then stood up on her paws and arched her back and tried to make herself look as scary as possible.

And then, to our luck, the big German Shepard soon got the message and immediately backed away.

While the owner was trying to comfort the dog, Michael took me to see Cinnamon to make sure that she was alright.

The tortoiseshell cat was slowly calming herself down after being in her defense mode.

"Are you okay, girl"?

Michael asked, being careful as to not startle the cat.

Cinnamon looked up at me, then at Michael, and then at her trainer.

"I think she'll be just fine after we give her a snack and a drink of water".

Our service animal trainer said, looking over at Cinnamon.

I was relieved that everything turned out okay.

Michael looked around and saw the German Shepard dog lying on the floor next to it's owner, with his tongue sticking out.

He was confused as to why the owner didn't say anything about it.

But just like me, the king of pop was glad that everything was okay.

Soon, the employees came around with dog and cat bowls filled with water.

They gave them to each of the owners so their canine could have a drink.

Cinnamon was sitting next to me on the mat while I was petting her.

"Here you go, your kitty deserves a snack break".

The lady smiled and gave the cat bowl to me.

I carefully placed the bowl a few feet away from Cinnamon, and she stood up and began to lap up the water with her sand-paper tongue.

Once she drank it all, I sat down on the mat again and began to pet her some more.

Then, it was almost time for everyone to take their pets home because their service animal training sessions were finished for the day.

Michael went to go speak to our trainer and when he was done, he kindly told me to go and get Cinnamon.

I went over to do just that.

We said goodbye to the other owners whose pets had become friends with Cinnamon, and then we walked out the front door.

It was only a little bit after 10:00 a.m, so the morning was still here.

I was happy because Cinnamon had done well during her training, despite the encounter with a not-so-nice German Shepard dog.
