When we got home, Prince, Paris, and Blanket were still doing school in the room which had been set up for them like a classroom, and since school was not over with yet, I would still be by myself until they were finished for the day.
Michael wanted me to go outside and get some fresh air for a little while, and when I left, he told Bill Whitfield, his bodyguard, to watch over me and make sure that was safe.
So, after putting my shoes on, I went to go get Cinnamon and together, the two of us walked out the door.
I wandered around the property until I could see the Ferris Wheel in the distance.
The rides were only for birthdays or special occasions.
Prince, Paris, and Blanket weren't allowed to go on them unless they had been doing good in school and if they hadn't had any bad behavior during the week.
Michael wants to bring up his kids with the right values, and that meant denying us the ride when we had not earned it.
Although I was no longer a child or in school anymore, the rules that Michael had for his kids still applied to me.
Walking towards the cobblestone path that led to the Peter Pan statue, my eyes took my attention to the entrance.
Cinnamon looked up at me and then gently pawed at my ankle, getting me back into focus.
Slowly, I grabbed onto the door handle and found it unlocked.
I stepped inside and found a stairway decorated with slender wreaths.
In each part of the house, everything was beautifully decorated like if was still Christmas Eve.
My lips curled up into a wide grin as I began to explore.
Cinnamon was not far behind and she proceeded to take in all the new scents.
She sniffed at all the Christmas candy, stared at the lights, and we even played hide and seek with each other.
Being around all these wonderful holiday-themed decorations, I found myself forgetting about all the bad things of my past.
It was like being in a Winter Wonderland.
I was so caught up by what I was doing, that I didn't hear Michael calling for me.
He wasn't worried because Bill was out there not far from where I was located.
"Don't worry, Mr. Jackson. I know exactly where F/n is, she's in the Christmas room".
Bill told the king of pop.
Soon, I heard Michael's soft voice coming down the hallway.
After a few minutes, he smiled when he found me looking at all the framed pictures of him, his family, and some close friends.
"Dinner's almost ready, and later on, we'll go watch a movie".
I was excited to learn that we would be watching a movie in the Neverland Theater.
When I saw that Cinnamon was trying to swat her paw at one of the Christmas lights, the sight of it made me laugh.
"No no no, that's not a toy, kitty".
Michael said, and then he gently picked her up and held her in his arms.
The cat settled down comfortably.
"Well, let's go back inside for now".
Michael smiled when I went over to give him a hug.
Then, we walked out of the Christmas room and out the front door.
Bill went to go do his routine security checks with the other bodyguards.
