The Boy Savior

Karma was dragging Jinx into their room. They were leaving a trail of blood on the floor.
"Sit" Karma said to her. Jinx obeyed. Karma took Jinx's gun and threw it on her desk.
"I didn't lose her! They took her." she talks to herself. "She was there for me! Not the enforcer."

'It must be nice having someone care for you like that' Karma thought in her own head.
'Silco does, Ekko does, I care for you' Mylo crouches down to her
"I guess your right. But just a little." He laughs at her response.
'How do I even know Ekko is even alive?' She told herself.

"Why would I remember her name?" Jinx continued
Karma grabbed a stapler to seal her wound. Jinx grunts in pain.
"Well, she's just some stupid topsider!" She groans again after feeling each pierce.
"Caitlyn" Karma said. "It's Caitlyn".
Jinx pause before she cackles.

'You think that was a good idea?'
"I don't know Mylo. But Caitlyn is my problem not hers, so I guess it's okay." Jinx wasn't paying attention to what Karma was saying.

Karma walks to the other side of Jinx and continues a conversation to herself. 'You think she'll leave you, don't you?' "Maybe..."'
"I'll just have to go solo if she does"
'Would you really go against her?'
"If that's what it has to come to, yes. I only care for her no one else and I can relate to her...and if she wants to go to their side... Then so be it... No one ever stays anyways."
'Hey' He looks at me in the eyes
"...Sorry" was all she could said.

Karma's POV

I lean on the wall in Silco's office. He struggles to puncture his eye.
"Let me help you with that." Jinx takes the thing out of his hand.
"Where've you been, Jinx?" She climbs over him.
"Oh, you know. Here, there, chasing down dead ends. And guess what? They're not all dead." She grabs his face harshly.
"I can explain."
"Don't move silly. I might hurt you." Jinx purposely punctures his cheek. Apart of me wanted to stop her, but he did lie. He just had it coming.
"I didn't know. Marcus never told me she was in Stillwater." He groans
"But you found out she came back. You lied."
"I wanted to protect you"
"From what?"
"She and the enforcer are back for the crystal. Not for you. Have you forgotten how she left you? Who found you? Who cared for you? Gave you a home? I am your family— No, me and Karma are your family. Everyone else betrays us. I need you. Now more than ever." Finally she punctures his eye and left.
"Karma." He calls for me.
"Sir." I walk to him
"I need you to finish that weapon. Jinx seems unable to continue. I'll leave the rest up to you, understand."
"I will." I walk out of his office to go after Jinx.

No one's pov

After following Jinx and calming her down they both headed towards the bridge sitting on the ledge.
Far away they see three people on the bridge. Karma uses her telescope to see who they are. 'Are you kidding' she rolls her eyes and passes it to Jinx.

"Shut up. It's just a goodbye hug." Karma lets her talk to herself.
"She wouldn't do that. Not again." Jinx was pissed.

The bridge lights up. As they conversate Marcus walks up to the enforcer and firelight. Marcus shot the Firelight and held his gun towards Caitlyn.
"Caitlyn!" Echoed thought the bridge. Karma and Jinx both see Vi run back.
Jinx and Karma weren't happy about it.
"Liar" escaped Jinx's mouth. They both moved towards the scene.
'You should've kept walking away' Karma refers to Vi.

"Ready?" Karma activated her many of butterfly machines. Jinx had her drawings on them and she nods.
"Good" Karma laughs. Not short after, many explosions go off.

The girls walk on the bridge humming a tune. Karma searches for the stone and Jinx shoots the surviving enforcers. Karma picks up the container with the gemstone. Jinx on the other hand notices Vi and Caitlyn together.
"I'll leave that to you" Karma tells her
"If it makes you feel better. Kill her" Karma looks at Caitlyn and smiles. She turns around walking away, eventually hearing shots going off and smiles wider.

As she walks away she senses someone coming. She ducks and tries to shoot 'em. It was the Firelight Ekko, but she didn't know that yet. Quickly he turns around taking the container and throwing it to Caitlyn. "Go!" He yelled.
'You little shit'  Karma walks back, but slowly along with Jinx. Vi looks at her sister with tears and walks away with Caitlyn.
"Oh, look who it is. The boy savior." Jinx yells to him. He smiles.

"You seem a little too happy with that comment" The H/C girl speaks up.
"Who are you anyway? Never mind doesn't matter" He said.
"You planing on being the distraction?" Karma takes of her ruined mask that was irritating her more.
Ekko's eyes widen "Y-Y/N? It was you?"
"Who's that? Dude I don't know you, NeVeR mInD dOeSn'T mAtTeR" She mocks him. He looked hurt in a way. He suddenly smiles and takes out a watch.
He rocks it side to side as it ticks. Jinx takes out her gun and Karma grabs some chains from the ground.

They all get ready, then attack.

Ekko doedges Jinx's bullets and Karma's swings. He kicks Karma hard and hits her back on the wall. He turns to hit Jinx using his weapon to hold her down. Repeatedly he punches her in the face. They stopped and stayed silent for a moment. Karma kicks him off. She could tell Jinx wasn't going to continue fighting and was already weak.
'If she's not gonna finish it, then I will' Karma thought already frustrated.

Karma walks over to Jinx's already weakened state. "Sorry Sweets" And knocks her out.

"Alright now that she can... rest? I dunno. I can finish you here." She looks over at him. She runs to him and attacks.
"Tch. Do you seriously not know who I am!" He yells.
"Uhh nope." She said not really caring.

"You don't remember your best friend? We made and fixed things together! You don't remember any of that?!"
"E-Ekko? Ohhhhhh what a twist!" She continues not taking it seriously.
"Why are you doing this? After the incident with Vander you really went to be with Silco?"
"See, that's where you got it wrong!" She runs at him.
"What?" He swung at her.
"I was with Silco from the beginning. Before I even met you silly." Karma trips him and laughs.
"Are you kidding!" He gets back up but she disappeared.
"No. No I am not." Echoed around him.

She took jinx's unconscious body away from the area.

"This isn't a joke! You knew this would all happen!?"
"Again no. I lived with Silco not plan with Silco. Big big difference there sir."
"Then why didn't you tell me?! Why didn't you leave?! We cou—" He was cut of with a hard hit to the stomach.
"Could've been friends with the rest of the group?Your just like Vi. I was on the opposite side and I won't leave Silco. I owe him my life. He was there when I was at my lowest, when my life no one cared about could've ended. That's what everyone has to understand!"

"And out of all the people you had to partner up with was Caitlyn?! Really?!" She continues fighting.
"It's not like I was gonna partner up with you?! Not after the mess you help create" Ekko's words stung her.

Ekko looked mad "I was hurt that you left and didn't come back, but now I'm glad you didn't. You could've helped Vander!" She froze and he was able to knocked her down. She immediately fought back to get him off her.
"How could yo-" He yelled in her face only to be cut off.
"I tried to help him!" Ekko looked at her shocked
"I tried to help them all. For Mylo, for Jinx, for YOU!... Like you said my bestfriend. But our friendship was over the day Vander died because if you found out about me then, you would've said you didn't want to see me or that you wanted me dead straight to my face. And you know what? I would've killed myself if you did...And that's why I'm doing it now." Tears pooled out of her eyes and his glare softened and stares at her. She drops a grenade he gasp and it explodes.
