“When I call your name you will go into my office and be seated “ Dumbledore addressed the school as he unveiled the Triwizard Cup, a piece of paper burst of the cup and landed towards Dumbledore “Fleur Delacour “ Dumbledore spoke and all the Beauxbatons cheered as flare walked towards Dumbledore and took her name, no more than five seconds later another more burnt piece of paper floated out of the cup “Viktor Krum” Dumbledore spoke echoing the whole hall and the Durmstrang school started to congratulate there fellow class mate, the only school left was Hogwarts everyone seemed eager to see who it would be that was chosen, you stare at Dumbledore who had just received the note , he sent daggers at you and began to roar furiously at you causing you to actually hid behind mattheo, mattheo merely moved aside causing you to send him death glares “y/n" you yank the piece of paper form him causing everyone to scream that you were a cheat that you were not seventeen yet, to which you nod and smirk “Well yeah dure I am a Slytherin after all“ this caused the hall to go silent agreeing with you and silently retracting there statements.
“Y/n do you know how much trouble you’ve caused me “ Dumbledore says while pacing his office with the other two contestants “I don’t know sir I just wanted to enter" you say innocently, he gives you a glare to which means shut the fuck up before I make you kinda look “Well there’s nothing we can do now tomorrow will be your test I do hope you don’t die" Dumbledore said while holding back a smile to which you know you’ve screwed up.
You get back to your room only to hit something hard “what the" you say while seeing nothing there “sorry forgot" Harry says while taking off his invisible cloak “what how did you get that and where do I get one “ you say mischief in your eyes “it was a Christmas present and that’s besides the point I can’t believe your a Campion, what’s your plan, you must have one “ Harry said while sitting on your bed “well honestly no, I put my name in there more as a joke than anything but don’t worry I won’t die” you say noticing tears begin to fall from Harry’s eyes “I swear you’ve become such a cry baby lately” you say while lightly pushing him causing him to laugh “I only cry when I am around you, you know" he says wiping his tears away “well I best get some rest its the first task tomorrow” at this Harry leaves so you can rest.
You wake up to see an owl sitting on your bed with a letter in its beak, you grab it and begin to read “meet me at the Quidditch stadium ~Dumbledore “ causing you to rush out the door and towards your meeting spot.
You arrive late as usual receiving dirty looks from both your competitors, “now that we’re all here” Dumbledore says while looking at you and grabbing a bag “id like you three to grab an object from this bag" you receive a dragon with horns and two heads causing you to wonder what everyone else received, you try to peek at the others dragons only to get shot down each time.
It was finally your turn to fight the dragon as you had to wait, something you were indeed very bad at doing you couldn’t sit stile for more than five seconds let alone two hours luckily you snuck your phone in, as none of the Professors knew what a phone was they allowed it.
You step out of the tent to see a fire breathing dragon flying towards you “Immobulus” you scream as the dragon stops and drops to the ground “ha that’s what you get" you say looking at the dragon unaware that the spell would ware off soon you stroll towards a weird egg in its nest “is this what I came for?” you ask your self as you ignored Dumbledore’s instructions, you grab the egg and walk off towards the tent when the dragon begins to regain mobility, this catches you off guard and you begin to run towards the tent blasting spells to stop the dragon from catching up to you. You make it back to the tent with it ripping your shirt, a small price to pay for life you think to your self as the other two contestants enter the tent “I am shocked your alive" Viktor says rather smugly “Well I am not” you say probably while playing with the golden egg “well done contestants tomorrow will be twice as hard but you must figure out what it is and where” Dumbledore says while looking at the egg to give a clue to the contestants.
You state at your egg determined to figure the clue out when mattheo steals it and opens it up, the egg screeches and mattheo quickly shut it “what was that?” you say while uncovering your ears “id say merfolk ” mattheo says while grinning “just because you knew that doesn’t make you smarter than me, but how would I be able to hear it?” you ask fully aware of the contradiction you just made but you were running out of time to figure out the clue “underwater" he says while laughing stating that the answer was so obvious.
You proceed to enter the bathroom and take a bath with your egg hearing the voices of the merfolk and the riddle you had to figure out “An hour long you'll have to look, And to recover what we took, But past an hour, the prospect's black, Too late, it's gone, it won't come back.” You look everywhere for Draco to help you solve the riddle, only for you to realise they had taken him, you cried as he would never let you live this down.
You look up to see tom staring at you rather displeased at your presence “why are you crying?” he asked eager for you to stop “they took Draco and I can’t hold my breath for over an hour to get him back” you start to cry again causing tom to get more frustrated “stop this annoying emotion shit and take this, I was planning on using it to scare mattheo with but I guess you need it more than me" he says giving you gillyweed, you take it and thank him finally stopping your crying and hurried doing bed as you didn’t want to turn up late and find Draco dead in the lake.
You arrive early much to everyone’s surprise, “well I am shocked your this smart “ Viktor says while laughing this causes you to slap him hard , “enough of this” Dumbledore said while pulling you apart “now then since everyone has made it, we will begin “ you eat the gillyweed and enter the lake making it quite easily across the lake and retrieving Draco from the lake, you were the first and then flare and the Viktor.
“I can’t believe you left me all night in that putrid lake” Draco says while drying him self off “I am sorry I couldn’t they had guards on stand by” this causes Draco to laugh “how’d you survive without me” Draco says eager to hear how you’d cried your self to sleep in worry causing him to give you a bear hug “we didn’t have movie night" he says almost forgetting out it" with this you push him off you and walk to Harry “see I told you I wouldn’t die “ you say making a show of that your alive causing Harry to laugh at your antics “I am sorry but Ron's still pissed about his sister so its probably best if you don’t talk to me while he’s around” Harry says in hushed tons while looking at Ron who is giving you the deadliest of glares, Hermione holding him back from doing something he may regret “yeah I guess so, see you around brother “ you shout as you leave the lake. Looks like another Weasley has made it to your list, you smile to your self thinking of ways to get revenge.
A day later you find another owl on your bed instructing you of an upcoming ball you must attend and the dance lessons McGonagall will be teaching, you scoff at this imagining McGonagall trying to dance.
You get out of bed and look though your closet to see if you have any decent dresses to wear to a ball, the red skimpy one only just coving your behind that would be a no, the old fashion one that you received from Draco’s mother that would also be a no, a blue fluffy dress like a cloud would show too much attention towards you and the a plain black dress for your great uncles funeral that would be a no. You huff at your collection and decide it would be best to go shopping.
“Draco wanna go shopping with me?” you plead as you hate shopping alone too many creeps around “sorry y/n you know I would but my father insisted that I meet him “ you knew full well when it came to Mr Malfoy Draco had no choice in the matter and you decided to leave the matter “if you want I can go with you" you cheerfully expect unaware of who actually asked the question as he was behind you, you spin around to be three inches apart from mattheo “um sorry I didn’t realise it was you" you say while looking away “well when are you going, I need to get a tuxedo “ he says rather annoyed at the fact he had to show up at all “Well I guess now” you say grabbing your wallet and mattheo by the sleeve.
