"Dreams Of Our Reality"

My life has been an ordinary life like any other.

Until one day, all has changed on that very fateful day.

This is the beginning...

...

...

...

My name is Jun, or what I usually go by. An 18-year high school student.

A lot of people don't know me because I usually sit behind in the background.

Though, that doesn't mean that I'm completely under the radar.

I usually leave a "lasting" impression (if it does), but the majority of it is yes.

I have plenty amount of friends, and some acquaintances simply because of my interesting personality at school.

Y'know, bombastic, energetic. I'd say the title of "Class Clown" suits me. Something I'm rather proud of.

But I also have a quiet side when I'm not in the mood or in a relatable situation.

My performance in school is somewhat average. More leaning on above average.
I'm usually the go-to when there's a group project. Capable of putting on a great act and a radio voice.

My country of origin is unfortunately the Philippines, one of the worst countries in the world.

I say this because I just despise my kind. But that's just a personal opinion, don't take it the wrong way or anything.

The world-threatening pandemic that had severely affected the world has finally come to an end, and everything in society is slowly returning to how it used to be.

Now my life returns to how it normally was. No more quarantine means no more comfortable stay-at-home days.

Man, I wished it could stay like this, but good times don't last. But I guess it's fine. Being cooped up in the house every single day is rotting my mind.

I wake up to the sound of my phone's alarm.

Groggily sitting straight on the bed, I tried my best to wake myself up.

Muttering to myself as I rubbed my eyes. "I should not have watched anime so late at night..."

After a while of idling, I stood up from my bed to do some light exercises.

Just like any other day, it's the same as ever.

Once I was finished, I headed out of the bedroom where I saw my father praying at our altar with religious objects.

I live in a Catholic household. A typical Filipino family, honestly.

His attention turned to me, and upon making eye contact with him, I nodded, telling him I was ready.
