The light to his dark world: Hogwarts is our home

Prof. Lockhart

Well there we 4 were, Ron, Harry, Jack and I, serving detention with Prof. Lockhart helping him answer his fan mail, not really I think any of our ideas of punishment, however we had been at it for the last 4 hours and Harry and I were starting to hear voices, but when we asked Lockhart about them, he said he hadn't heard anything.

And during the night we'd heard those same voices again. Coming out of Lockhart's office, but we weren't sure where it was coming, or who was saying it, because Hermione couldn't hear the voices, but we could. We heard someone say something about smelling blood and killing. And then we came across Flitch's cat, and a message written in blood, about how the chamber of secrets had been opened and we had to beware.

Flitch was so upset about his cat and Dumbledore said everyone should return back to their corridors, except for Harry and our friends. And then Lockhart came running to see the mess, and when Snape was suspicious about our activity since he hadn't seen the 4 of us at dinner that night. But Lockhart told him that was his fault, that we had been helping him in his office.

And as we all went back to the our rooms for the night, at the moving staircase, Hermione was going on about something being very strange, how only the two us seemed to be able to hear these voices and then after Flitch's cat is bleeding and nearly dead. Harry thinks maybe we should've said something to someone Ron seemed to think we were out of our minds if we wanted to do that. That after all even in the wizard world it was bad to be able to hear voices, and the talking pictures on the wall agreed with us.

We went to be, and woke up in the morning and went to class (outfit 14)  with my robe on over of course, we went to class with Prof. McGonagall, as we were trying to turn animals into water goblets, Ron tried, but due to the fall the other night, his wand was still broken and needed to be fixed right away. After all, what's a wizard without a wand? Just a silly mortal if you ask me. Hermione raised her hand to ask her about the chamber of secrets and then we got a whole history lesson out of that.

She asked her about the legend having to do with what is hidden inside of it, and she said it was something that only the heir of Slytherin could control, which I'm sure we were to assume to be as Snape, and that whatever was down there is probably a terrifying monster waiting to wreck havoc. But for over a thousand years no one has been able to actually find this chamber of secrets, so it was probably nothing. But every time someone says its only nothing, you know there's got to be something. :(
