Saving Ginny

Well what do we do now? Here is what is going to happen. The two of you stay here and shift through the rocks so that we can find a way to get back up, and Harry and I will go find Ginny. Come on Harry. Once we find Ginny she's out cold, she looks dead, she not breathing, and she's as cold as ice, but she's not dead.

At least according to Tom Riddle. Who had suddenly decided to appear our of nowhere. He told us she would not wake up. That no she wasn't dead, but she still isn't going to wake up. I started to sense something off about him, and was even more suspicious when my scar acted up but not my brother's.

Are you a ghost? He asked him. No Harry he's not real, he's nothing but a memory that was trapped in a diary for 50 or so years. Then I *gasp* and pull Harry closer to me. Between now and shortly before Harry had dropped his wand close by, and he'd asked Tom to pass it to him, but what I'd *gasped* about was that there had been a basilisk behind Tom. My concern was if he was nothing really but a memory, how did he get out and how was he here?!

But Tom didn't show a smidge of fear, he told us it only came if it were called. Harry asked about his wand again that we had to heal Ginny. Let me do it that's my job. No, you always do everything, I'll never get any better if I don't do something. Harry told me. Very well, can we have his wand back please Tom? When Tom refused and Harry said he needed to heal Ginny Tom told him she was the one that had opened the chamber that had sent the giant snake onto the mudbloods.

But we knew Ginny, we knew she'd never do that, that she wasn't cable of doing something so terrible to hurt anyone. He tried to convince us that she'd done it to Filch's cat too, that she'd been the who had written those threatening messages. But why would she do that? Harry asked him. I pulled him closer and scowled at Tom, protecting him and Ginny both pointing my wand at him.

Because he made her do it. Smart girl. But, she doesn't know that I made her do them, she was in some kind of trance that I'd gone and put her under, she'd found the diary, and the power of it scared her, she tried to get rid of it in the girls bathroom, and that's when you two found it. The very two people whom I was most anxious to meet. But why us, why would you want to meet us?

The realization suddenly hit me like a ton of bricks. Tom wasn't his real name, at least not anymore, now he was the very person that was out to kill us. He'd framed Hagrid, but that Dumbledore had, had his eye on him, that he knew while he was at this school still it wouldn't be safe to open the chamber, that that's why he had to keep his 16 year old self in the diary, and finish his work, but we knew he couldn't once the mandrake draught would be ready soon and cure everyone.

But he didn't seem to care about killing mudbloods anymore it didn't matter to him anymore his new target was us now and had been for about 12 years now. What are you talking about who are you? Get back Harry he's no longer Tom Riddle! He's V- I am Lord Voldemort. The true heir to Slytherin. And soon Ginny will be dead and the greatest sorcerer in the world myself Voldemort will be of full power again and I will rule.

Dumbledore is the greatest sorcerer NOT you! The basilisk can to try and kill us, but he tells us that Dumbledore has been driven out of the castle but that Harry says he'll come back because of those that are loyal to him. And as if on cue Fawkes swoops in and blinds the giant snake. But he can still hear us. Tom says that Parseltongue won't help either of us now. But it already has at least some what.

It charges at Harry, but I stand in front of him, and as if in slow motion it all happens. I push Harry out of the way, the basilisk bites me. But I'll be ok. After all I'm still part vampire. I'm in a lot of pain though, but the venom won't kill me. Tom doesn't know that, and neither does Harry. At the very most it might be able to make me sick. But it won't kill me. Ginny is beginning to awaken....

Tom thinks he's won, that I will die. I grunt in pain, but begin to self heal. Ginny run, go find Ron and Jack I warn her grabbing my arm, as I begin to sway back and forth. But Harry holds me up. I feel sick and in pain, but I will not die. And almost as quick as he got here he was gone. Defeated of some kind for now. Ginny apologizes for all the pain she has caused us, but its not her fault and we forgive her.

Farrah?! You're hurt Ginny and Harry both state. I'll be fine, Ginny please go. You'll be safe go. You go too Harry I'll be fine. No, no Snow you'll die. I can't lose you. He cries. I smile weakly. You won't lose me Harry, not ever what V- doesn't know and what you seem to forget is that I'm still part vampire and part mermaid, IDK how you forget such things, but a little snake venom is barely gonna even leave much of a scratch on someone who has partial venom of some kind "inside" of her.

They'll cancel each other out, I've already began to self heal. And Fawkes tears have healing powers, at the very least if they hadn't had been able to heal me I'd just be a little sick, and in a lot of pain, but nothing I wouldn't be able to handle, but I'm just glad it wasn't yourself or Ginny that got bit. Thank you Fawkes I say stroking his nose. Good boy. I would sacrifice myself for you or my friends every time Harry. Because I love you.

And I you Snow. Please never do that again! That's not exactly a promise I can keep. But I hope I won't have to. Next time let me save you. Deal, let's just hope there won't be a next time. Snow I think we both know that there will be. It's alright Ginny it's now nothing but a memory. I remind her. As we head back to the group. And what of Lockhart? Well he's at least out of the chamber, just like magic. ;)
