Going out with the family

I'm so sorry I haven't updated in forever :c

*time laps to 8 years later*
"Hannah! You're going to be late! Juliet will be here any minute!" I sighed, my dad wants me to get to know his side of the family so he invited his niece around for me to get to know. Personally I've heard she is a lovely girl but I'm not a very people kind of person. I'm kinda quiet and keep myself to myself where as I've heard she is quite a chatty person.

*waiting at Starbucks*

I was sitting with my knees up by my chin in a booth near the door waiting for Juliet to arrive, I didn't know what to expect so I just sipped my frappe and sat silently.
A lady walked through the door, maybe of an age of 26 or so. she looked around the room until her eyes landed on me and she slowly made her way closer as I took another sip of my drink whilst keeping an eye on the woman.
"Hey, you're Riot? Right? I'm Juliet" the lady said while holding her hand out towards me as I cautiously took it and a smile slowly made its way to my lips.
"Yup I'm Riot, nice to meet you." She returned the smile and sat down.
"So I heard that you have a passion to sing." She genuinely seemed interested and I nodded.
"Yeah, I play lead guitar aswell in a band who I also sing for." I smiled and dipped my finger in my drink absentmindedly and then licked it.
"Oh cool! I'm in a band myself but I'm not too sure about how it's going." She smiled and played with some mini sachets on the table.
Juliet stood up and went to order her drink, she returned and smiled once again.
"Your dad told me that you like black veil brides?" She asked while keeping her gaze down at her coffee.
I smiled to myself "yup, I love them" I smiled again, remembering the events that's happened a few years ago.
"I know the lead singer pretty well." She smiled at me as I smile back.
"Yeah I had a pretty traumatic time when I met them before. I ended up with some bruises but I survived, speaking of concerts. Would you like to come to my concert tonight? I was given some extra tickets to give out for free and was wondering if you'd like them? There's two so you could bring a friend or whatever." I looked up from my drink and saw a smile plastered on her face.
"Yeah! That'd be awesome. I'd love to hear you guys play. I could bring my boyfriend, he really enjoys his music so you might be able to get some tips off of him or something?." She spoke seeming genuinely happy and proud of her decision of guest.
"Sure, I don't mind it's up to you." I dipped my finger in my drink once again, scooping the cream into my mouth as mess free as I could. I reached into my back pocket and pulled out the tickets and passed them to her along with some back stage passes. "You might as well have these as well, they'd be no use without the tickets." I slid them onto the table in from of Juliet and she took them off the table and slotted them into her purse.
"Thanks." She grinned as we both finished our drinks and spoke aimlessly about whatever the hell came up in conversation.

*time skip to later that night when Riot is with the band waiting backstage*

The crowd were buzzing. My heart beat was fluctuating and my mind was going blank... Just like normal. Every lyric, every note and every tune disappeared from my brain but as soon as I would reach the stage, everything would come flooding back.
I couldn't spot Juliet anywhere. Where the hell was she? I mean not that I'm bothered just she said she'd be here to witness our band.
As Matt, Dean and Rick all stepped onto the stage I followed behind with my guitar hug off of my shoulder and skipped onto the stage.
"Hey!" I smiled as the crowd erupted and numerous people shouted out funny spur of the moment crap and I laughed slightly. "Yes, I will have your babies." I giggles in response to someone's pleading. "Should we start off with a cover of Ghost Town's Spark?" I almost shouted into the microphone.
The crowd one again jumped to life.
"Spark it is." I began to play as the tune turned into guitar and drums.
"I can't imagine myself on my death bed..." I sang as the crowd all bounced off of the floor
"We're the spark that lights the flame." The bouncing continued along with the crowd singing along.
The song came to an end and I giggled at the crowds applause.
I still couldn't find Juliet and her boyfriend.
We started our next song which was a cover of true friends by Bring Me The Horizon.
I got about half way through the song when a sudden stab to the heart took my breath away causing me to stop singing.

Oh my god guys I'm so sorry!!! It's been so freaking lonnngggg.

I apologise enormously for my lack of updates.

If ever this happens again feel free to shout at me and make me write. I am a huge procrastinator and lately I haven't had any motivation to write but I'm back c: I'll update as often as I can
