Chapter 3

Ranboo POV

TommyInnit:
What do you want
me to call you then?

Ranboo_:
Your boyfriend

Omg I did not just say that. That's so embarrassing.

Ranboo_:
Kidding Ofc

It took Tommy a while to reply. I sat there watching the 3 dots bounce up and down.

TommyInnit:
Yeah. Ofc lol.

Anyway I gtg now
Cya later Ranboo.

And with that we stopped texting. I almost instantly felt lonely. I missed talking to the blonde boy. God, have I become obsessed? Maybe. I sat there on my bed thinking about him. How pretty he is. How funny he is. How clingy he is. God he's so adorable.

I was knocked out of my trance by my phone vibrating on my bedside table. I picked it up.

Incoming call from: Billzo 👽

I sighed realising it wasn't Tommy and answered the call.
"What's up bill" I asked
"Nothing just bored man" he replied
We stayed silent for a couple seconds until.
"Sooo. Why'd you ask for tommys insta? You like him or something" he asked teasing me.
"W-what no" I stuttered
"Awe he's all flustered" i heard a voice on the other end say.
"Wha- who's with you" I asked
"Calm down. Just my mom" he said
Bills mom was basically my auntie. Our families have always been really close so we basically grew up together.
"Ugh- fine maybe I do like him" i said
"Yeah obviously man" he said
"What's that supposed to mean" I asked
"You basically clung to him all day. You sat next to him at lunch, asked him to wait for you after practice and you carried him into his house. His parents probably think you're dating him." He said
"Oh my god. Was it that obvious"I asked
"Too obvious" he replied
I looked at the time on my phone 10:34 god it's late.
"I'm gunna go to sleep now bill" i said
"Okay! See you tomorrow" he said hanging up. I turned my phone off and put it away. I clung to my pillow and fell asleep.

Tommy POV
*time skip - 6:30am*

As per usual I was startled awake by my phone alarm blaring through my room. God, I was so tired. I have to wake up earlier on Tuesdays because Freddie can't pick me up. I grabbed my phone looking through my notifications from the night. It wasn't that much. I then stumbled out of bed making my way to the bathroom to brush my teeth. I saw my reflection. Again. Sometimes I completely hate how I look. Especially in the morning. I looked so scruffy. Hair sticking up, black bags hanging from my bloodshot red eyes and my lips looked really dry and chapped. Once I finished brushing my teeth I walked back to my room to get dressed. I don't really care what I wear today so I put on a pair of jeans and a white band sweater. I grabbed my phone, AirPods and bag then made my way downstairs. I grabbed a banana and walked into the living room. I looked at the time 6:50 I have 10 minutes before I have to leave. So I decided to text someone.

TommyInnit:
G'morning ranboo!

I waited for a reply. I was about to put my phone away until I saw the three dots.

Ranboo_:
Morning toms

TommyInnit:
Do you have early football
practice with Freddie?

Ranboo_:
Yeah. Why?

TommyInnit:
I was gunna ask you to
pick me up. I can't be
bothered walking.

Ranboo_:
Oh I'm sorry Tommy.

TommyInnit:
It's fine. See you
at school.

Ranboo_:
Later toms

When the time hit 7:00 I put my AirPods in putting my playlist on. The first song was Fluorescent Adolescent by Arctic Monkeys. Then I set off to school.

*time skip - 8:04*

I just arrived at school. Yes it took me and hour. I'm a slow walker. I mean yes I could have asked my brother to drive me but will hates waking up early. So he probably would have said no. I waited for this song to finish before taking my AirPods out. It was Cabo by Ricky Montgomery if you're curious.

I walked to the bleachers because they should still be practicing. I sat down and immediately locked my eyes on Ranboo. I wasn't planning on it. I wanted to watch Freddie. Y'know be a supportive friend. But I couldn't move my eyes off of him. I felt like I had been there for five minutes but the players started walking back to the changing rooms. I checked my phone. 8:25 oh god.

I got up walking to my locker. I grabbed my booked and headed to my first lesson. Art with Miss Kitten. I love this lesson. I have this lessons with. Bill and Beau but ranboo is also in it. Which makes it kinda better I guess. When I got there I saw ranboo. He looked sweaty. Oh my. So ho-. No not now Tommy. We sat down on our seats and miss started the lesson.

Ranboo POV

I kept noticing Tommy looking at me. Did i have something on my face. No I don't think so. Why's he staring at me?
"Hey captain, yknow he's staring at you right?" Wali said i nodded back
"Yknow he might like you. Like most of the girls in this school" he said that made me blush. The idea of tommy liking me back made butterfly's swarm my stomach.
"Yeah.. maybe" I replied
"Anyway what are we supposed to paint? I wasn't paying attention" he said
"Nature.. I think i don't know man. Look at the people around us" i said looking at the girls piece next to me

"Um hay, what are we supposed to do" I asked her she went a dark shade of red.
"Oh- um w-we're making a land scape" she said
"Thank you" i said and started painting

*time skip - lunchtime*

"Cmon captain" purpled said wanting to get to our table
"Go without me" i said walking away to tommy's table. I got there first and sat down waiting for them. Then I felt a weight on my back.
"Ranboo help me" Tommy said
"What" I asked
"Tubbos trying to tickle me. Save me" he said I couldn't help but go red
I picked Tommy up and put him on my lap he wrapped his arms and legs around me.
"Tommyyy" I heard Tubbo say
"Haha you can't get through Ranboo" he said I looked at Tubbo and winked at him.

"Oh no you've gotten me. How can I possibly tickle you now" Tubbo said obviously sarcastically. I put my mouth up to tommys ear.
"I'm sorry toms" i said before swiftly moving my hands under his arms tickling him. He erupted into laughter
"Haha sto- ahaha ssstooaahhppp" he screamed I stopped and he started breathing heavily.
"You okay?" I asked he nodded
"Just overwhelmed" he replied
"I'm sorry toms" i said

"Why do you keep calling me that" he asked
"Calling you what?" I asked
"Toms" he said
"Because it's cute" i said then I went to his ear
"Just like you" I whispered and saw him blush red.
"Shut up" he said getting off my lap sitting in his own chair.

Everyone else got to the table with their food. We started talking about stupid things.
"Ranboo. You're cute too" Tommy said smiling
"Wha- huh" i said choking on my water
"Well you called me it before. It felt right to return the favour" he said
"Thank you?" I said he rested his head on me
"You tired" I asked he nodded
"Sleep, I'm not stoping you" I said. He closed his eyes falling asleep.
