A/N : sorry for short chapter- i'm visiting family so i dont have a lot of time on my hands these past for chapters have been quite slow but chapter 5 and up will eventually get the story moving :)

When the oak doors of your Hana classroom opened in the middle of a lecture, you figured it was a student council member making an announcement. What you didn't figure was that the student council president would actually be attending class today. The teacher didn't dare question that she was thirty minutes late as she walked to her seat in front of me, not noticing everyone's eyes on her. You couldn't help but stare at her, replaying the events that had happened a few moments earlier.

You were so busy thinking about Kirari that you hadn't noticed the teacher had been calling your name for the past five minutes, until blue nail polish came into your eyesight as the perfectly manicured fingernails tapped your desk.

"Y/n!" The teacher exclaimed, he was a short guy, balding, with round glasses, "What is the answer to question six?" he said once more.

"Uhm.." you began, feeling more pressure as the whole class was now looking at you, including Kirari, "I'm not sure, sorry sir," you finished, your eyes met with Kirari's and she gave you a small smirk.

The teacher sighed when he heard the lunch bell ring, you quickly stood up, gathering your things in your black briefcase as you watched students hurriedly file out.

"Y/n," you heard a familiar voice say, you quickly lifted your head to meet her eyes, "You'll indulge me in a gamble won't you?" Kirari asked, grazing her hand down your arm causing you to blush a dusty pink.

"What will we be playing for?" You wondered. You knew you couldn't beat Kirari, she was the best gambler in the school, hence her being president.

"If I win you will join the Student council as my personal secretary," Kirari replied, her eyes glowing a bright cyan as you stared into them, acknowledging her wide grin.

"What about Sayaka?" You said, "I mean..isn't she your secretary?"

"She's the council secretary," She answered, resting her left hand on her chin. "We'll settle this with a simple coin toss, heads or tails?" She asked you.

"Tails."

She flipped the coin in the air, clasping it in her hand with such elegance that left you blushing a dark red. She slowly revealed the coin in her hand, displaying 'heads'. You shrugged, you knew you weren't going to beat Kirari, and you weren't that disappointed with the outcome.

"It seems that..." She trailed off, licking her lips before displaying a wide grin, "I have won,"

"Well then, it is our lunch time, we shall eat together in the council room from now on," She giggled, motioning you to follow her as she exited the classroom into the halls.
