(Virgil's POV)

Why did I do this? Why did I do this? Wait.. What do I even have to be worried about, I'm dead already.

I pace around the dock waiting for Remus and whoever else he planned on bringing. Even with my immortality I can't help but feel like we're all gonna be in danger once we walk off this dock.

Maybe this is a bad idea... I can walk away and say I got caught up in something else...

My phone rings. I look down at the caller ID and surprisingly it's Remus. Is he cancelling? Only one way to find out I guess.

(Remus' POV)

I attempted to get Roman and Remy to stay home, but they were not having it. Understandable I guess, this is our cousin but I'm sure Virgil and I could've handled the whole thing just as well on our own.

We told Logan to stay put but as I was about to step out the door something dawned on me. What if he starts choking on water again? Maybe it's a bad idea to leave him alone...

It's obvious that I'm not going to be able to make them stay, so I'm probably gonna have get someone to watch him.. someone who knows our secret and can trust...

I decide to give Virgil one last call.

...

...

"Remus? Where are you?"

"About that... My brothers also want to tag along but I'm a little concerned about leaving Logan alone."

"Oh Jesus.. You haven't left yet have you? If so how far are you because you need to turn back."

"No, we haven't left yet. Are we not supposed to leave a dead person alone?"

"If a person is new to begin dead it's very dangerous to leave them alone. It takes a while to regain strength and if left alone they can have... Accidents."

"Accidents?"

"Being dead isn't all perks. Not letting your strength build up can cause major problems with your body. For example in Michael's case he didn't let his strength build up and it caused rapid decomposition, which for someone still 'alive' that's pretty painful."

"I guess it's a good thing we didn't leave him alone then. Logan's been coughing up water since he got here, what might that do to him if he doesn't let his strength build up?"

"If I had to guess, internal damage to most of his organs and once he ran out of water to puke up he'd start coughing up blood. Which in turn would cause decomposition which has to be stopped with medication."

"Good to know. We're definitely not leaving him alone and we're not letting him come, so what do we do..?"

"... I think I have an idea. You remember my bubbly cousin Patton, right?"

"Blue polo, gray cardigan, right?"

"Bingo. He's the one who took care of me when he found me still breathing in the alley after the hit and run. He'll never let anything bad happen to anyone if he can help it. I'm sure he can hang with your cousin for a while."

"That's nice. Are you going to drop him off here and pick us up then?"

"Yeah. I still need to drop off Mike's meds at the house so I might as well. I'll see you in a bit."

"Okay, see ya!"

*Beep*

I look up to find the other three staring at me. "Well? I assume it went well?" Remy breaks the silence. I smile and nod. "Well I got someone to hang out with Lo while we kill a bitch. What can you tell me about Patton Schmidt?"

Logan looks up from the floor upon hearing that name. "Schmidt you said? I know him." We all turn to Logan. "You guys remember that job I worked at the vet for a while? He was a veterinarian there. Everyone at the clinic loved him, I thought he was killed in a robbery though."

As if on cue, we hear a knock at the door. Well that was fast...

(Patton's POV)

Whoo boy, for someone who was literally killed by a car Virge drives awful fast... I hardly had time to grab my cardiga- wait... "Aw, fiddlesticks!" My sudden exclamation startles my jumpy cousin. "This isn't my cardigan!" I sink down in my seat. The sudden realization hits him as he bursts into a fit of laughter. "You grabbed the cat hoodie that you got as a gift from one of your co-workers from the vet didn't you?"

He laughs more as I nod and pull up the hood. Huh, this is actually a pretty comfy hoodie. I should wear this more. For the rest of the ride we laugh and joke until we make it to the brick house we were at earlier today getting rid of a body.

Virgil knocks on the door and a man who I could've sworn wasn't here previously answers the door. He's wearing a red and gold hoodie and black jeans. This. Man. Is. TALL.

"Romannnn quit scaring my friends! Fockin titan lookin ass" the man with the mustache from earlier jabs the taller one in the ribs, in which he in return gives the man with the mustache a dirty look. "You're just sad you're short." He shoots back, almost earning him another jab to the ribs but he blocks.

I honestly can't help but chuckle a bit. These two remind me so much of Mike and Virge. Even reminds me a bit of Emile and I before he left.

The man with the mustache looks at me with a smile. "I don't think we've formally met yet. I'm Remus, and this tree here is my twin Roman, who I'm pretty sure neither of you have met."

"Actually, Roman and I have met before..." Virgil speaks up. Roman smiles. "That lady didn't give you any more problems, did she?" I immediately catch onto what lady he means. Virgil just smiles and assures him he didn't have any more problems. That's one way of putting it I guess...

We walk into the house where I see a familiar face laying on the couch, looking deathly pale. "Oh my stars.... I can see why Virge thought I was needed. Did I remember to grab my backpack?" Virgil nods and motions in the direction of the car. That's right, I left it on the floor of the car.

Let's see if I can't fix this poor guy up...
