Kellins pov:
Her screams bounce off these paper thin walls. I feel my heart wince and my stomach tense with each scream that can find its way out of my poor sisters mouth. Gosh... I hate this feeling.. it's complete and utter helplessness.
I walk out slowly and carefully, walking on my tippy toes to be as quiet as I can be. Creakkkkkkk. I look up from the squeaky hard floors to see a man smiling at me. Not a nice smile, no, this smile was like when a predator sees its prey.
"Kellin go! I'll be in the room in a minute I.." Celest, my older sister, started to say before the man slaps her. "STOP IT! LEAVE HER ALONE!" I yelled loudly, picking up a book and throwing it at him.
He stops, having one of his men sit on my sister. He gets up and starts walking towards me. I stood there as tall as my little legs would allow me to until my sister started yelling run.
I turned and ran down the stairs to the living room and he chases me. His long legs will surely help him catch up... think Kellin, where can't he fit?
I go to the back wall and move the board out of the hole in the wall before climbing in and pulling it back in place. My hearts beating fast, my fear powering me on through the small crawl space in the walls. There is an exit by the cellar. My heart is fixed on getting to the neighbors house.
I hear him yelling for me, and every time he gets close to the wall I stop to make sure he won't hear me. The fear of the dark is nothing compared to the fear I have of this man. "Leave her alone, please, she's only six. Please I'll give you anything" I hear my sister plead over and over when someone hits the wall directly in front of me. I yelp in fear before holding my mouth with a hand. Has he found me? Is this it?
They hit it again and I stay perfectly still. When I hear him move away from the wall I slowly start to move forward, hoping to just get past them and out of this house. They hit it once more while I'm moving and you hear them start to talk
"How Big is she?" I hear the man ask and Celest responds with another plead for my escape "She doesn't even have a cup size and her little butt is nothing compared to mine. Just let her leave and I promise you I won't fight it, just let her go"
I continue crawling, trying my hardest to be silent. All it takes is one wrong move... "Stop scaring yourself!" The little voice inside my head yells and I nod. I got this. I have to for my big sister.
I finally get out of the space and start running down the back yard and into the back neighbors house. I see a small figure standing in the yard and I run to it. "HELP! HELP! Someone's in the house!" I scream, running up to this small figure I see it was a little boy.
"Please let me use your phone, my sisters in there with these scary men and he's hitting her!" I start to cry and when I look up to this little boy I see his brown eyes. They look at me with such intensity. Alarm bells go off inside my head and I start backing away.
He grabs my hand and starts to speak, "Your sisters in there? Come on, let's go get her. I texted my dad and told him to call the good guys when I heard screaming. Come on, let's go." Thank god! We're going to be okay!
I nod and we run back to my house. I tell him to be quiet and we go down into the cellar. I keep the lights off so they don't know we're here. We slip up the stairs and are staring right at her. She's tied to a chair, something's in her mouth as the men start to break the wall. They heard me.
