Second guessing

"Oi Kai last nights party was sick". Yelled sage as he ran down to Kai giving him a hug. "Yeah last night was awesome . Did you go home with someone I lost you?"Asked Kai in response. "Yeah i got a taxi with dell. We went to my house, her parents were at her house and I'm pretty sure they hate me." Kai was confused he thought dells parents were at their friends wedding. "Weren't they supposed to be at some douches wedding?" "Uh yeah apparently they got home early. I don't really know to be honest."

"Can you guys stop talking for one minute and listen to me." Said Mae butting in frustrated that they had ignored her. "There's a new kid in our class kai he was here yesterday. He is sitting next to you in science and I think is gonna be your partner. I don't know bout that part though I stopped listening half way through the teachers speech." Kai was confused they only had 2 weeks left of the semester left why wouldn't he have waited. "Um...cool I don't care. If it was a girl though I would care a lot more." Laughed Kai high-fiving Sage over his 'joke'. Mae was sick of all the talking about girls so she started heading to there first class even though the bell didn't go for anther 10 minutes. She was hoping dell would be coming earlier then usual.

"You pissed her off." Laughed Sage . "Yeah right. I bet she just went to find dell". Scoffed Kai. "Ok sure sure you believe that." Kai rolled his eyes. He felt like a smoke before class so he closed his locker and started heading to the bathroom. "I'm going to the bathroom ciao."

When Kai had entered the bathroom he checked to make sure no one was in any of the stalls. When he had checked he pulled out a cigarette and lit it. Kai was standing there on his phone smoking a cigarette when someone entered the bathroom. "Oh shit." Kia whispered trying to hide his smoke, but instead of hiding it he had dropped it. "Oh crap sorry pretend I didn't see a thing." Said the mystery brunette laughing as he entered a stall. Kai was relieved it wasn't a teacher or janitor. If the teachers caught him smoking or taking drugs on school grounds he would have to do after school detention, and he did not want to be at school when he could be doing better things. Kia's last smoke was now on the bathroom floor probably covered in millions of diseases so he checked his watch and there was only a minute left till class so he just decided to get to class on time for once. When he entered he found Mae and Della sitting and chatting in the back of the room. He went and sat next to Mae and said hey to Della. When they were in the middle of there conversation someone entered the room.

Kai looked up and he was shocked to see it was the boy from the bathroom. He hadn't got to see the boys face well in the bathroom but he looked good. "Good morning Colby why are you late." Asked the teacher. "Umm cause I was lost. You can't expect the new kid to learn the layout of the whole school in just one day sir." Snickered Colby. The teacher snapped and told him not to talk with so much disrespect in his tone. The teacher decided to give Colby a pass but told him if it happened again he would get detention. The  brunette boy sat at the back of the class next to the window. He pulled out his phone and for some reason Kai couldn't stop staring. He thought it was just cause he was new and interesting. "Hey kai you good?" Asked Mae as flicked him. "You zoned out." "Oh yeah sorry I was just thinking." Answered kai still thinking about Colby. "Ok if you need something just talk to della or I we are here for you." She said with a sweet smile. "Yeah I know I'm all good thanks."

When Mae had stopped talking to him he went back staring at Colby. His nose and jaw were perfect, he had a sharp jawline that could cut threw glass. His nose was the perfect shape and the freckles on his face were placed perfectly there was nothing with anything about him. Kai was confused how this kid caught his attention he had seen so many people that look like him but Colby just looked better then all of them combined. When Kai had snapped out of his day dream about the boy that made him feel strange he grabbed his phone and checked his timetable. Kia was glad they had sport next. He realised that sport is the easiest class to skip cause the teacher was always up some sporty dickheads ass bragging to other kids and teachers about how amazing they are at sport. God he hated school with a burning passion. But he still couldn't stop staring at a certain brunette.
