Chapter 2 - Celebrity meeting

You, Mango, and Zef are jamming out in the car, listening to the radio and giggling to nothing.

You all arrive at Rose Cafe and stand outside.

Zef:
"Ugh, there's a whole line? It's never been this busy!"

Mango:
"Wait don't you guys see who's in there? OH MY GOSH!"

Mango violently shakes your shoulder and points to someone through the glass.

You squint your eyes while trying to get a full glimpse of the person. Soon he turns and you hear Zef let out a small gasp beside you.

Zef:
"Oh my god it's Langhope! Their eyes are so purple in real life!"

Mango and Zef press up against the window basically on the verge of tears. You back up and sigh, collecting your thoughts you wonder.

"Wasn't this the person I saw on Instagram or something?"

You:
"Who is Langhope and why are you obsessing over him? He looks so old with that hair!"

Mango stares at you in shock, mouth wide open. A few bystanders overheard your comment and turned to look in your direction.

You:
"I don't get it? Who is this Lang person?"

Mango shakes their head at you disappointingly.

Mango:
"I can't believe you don't know who Langhope is! He's a young and famous artist. He makes art with his best friend SoftieCinna sometimes too."

Mango pulled out their phone and opened Instagram. You watch as they show Langhopes Instagram account with over one million followers. They showed a few of his posts, mostly consisting of art pieces but some were just casual posts about his life.

You recognize him and confirm that you saw him and his friend SoftieCinna on Instagram the other day.

You:
"This guy seems chill, I like him."

Mango:
"Everyone loves him! This is a rare opportunity, we HAVE to go meet him!"

You:
"I dunno, you guys can but I'll just get a coffee and sit down."

Zef:
"Are you insane? Sit down and watch?! You have to atleast get an autograph."

You:
"Ugh fine, I'll meet this old guy."

Mango:
"He's not old! His hair is naturally black and white...don't diss Langhope now."

You roll your eyes and wait while the line slowly shortens. The three of you finally make it into the cafe only to see the line is even longer inside.

You hear Zef let out an exasperated sigh and Mango crossed their arms. You all wait for 30 minutes to get to the counter where Rosa was serving customers.

Rosa:
"Welcome to Rose Cafe how can I help you? Oh, hello Y/N what are you doing here?"

You:
"Hi Rosa! Me and my friends just came by to get some lunch and hang out but apparently there's some celebrity or someone here."

Rosa:
"Yeah, a famous artist came by for some coffee but he was unaware so many people knew who he was. The cafe was swamped with customers."

You giggle and order yourself a coffee and a sandwich. You turn to ask what Zef and Mango wanted but they were eagerly waiting in line to get a photo with Langhope. You sigh and order them coffee and some sandwiches as well.

You pay and Rosa waves at you as you stand at the pick up station. A few minutes later your food arrives and you sit down and wait for Mango and Zef to finish up with their photos and autographs.
