Chapter 26

It was the next day. You were alone as Hyunjae has gone to university.  You guys have decided that Hyunjae would complete his studies. You now were scrolling through your social media until you came upon Miyeon's post which was with Hyunjae.  captioned:  Preparing for the best day. You saw that it was posted 10 minutes ago. 

Ofcourse Thye could be together as they were in the same club. you sighed and put down your phone. honestly, you don't have much to do. So you decided to visit Jiwoo as you knew Jiwoo didn't have any class today.

As you moved pretty far away from your old apartment which you shared with Jiwoo, it took you 40 minutes to travel there.  Jiwoo moved in with Seungwoo a few days ago which was near you guys's old apartment. As Jiwoo wasn't expecting you she got shocked to see you there 

"Minchae-ah is everything ok?" Jiwoo asked and you nodded.   Jiwoo lead you to the living room and you sat on the couch.  You saw some pictures of Jiwoo and Seungwoo on their dates. It was so cute you wanted to do something like that with Hyunjae but don't know if it will ve possible or not.

"Are you ok minchae-ah?" Jiwoo asked. "Unnie I think I am not being a good friend," You said 

"What no. why?" Jiwoo asked. " I feel like I am not involved in Haewon and Changmin's life as I should have but they come running whenever I needed them," You said. 

"Did they say something?" Jiwoo asked and you said no.  "THat's not true Minchae-ah and we will be always here," Jiwoo said and you hugged her but again sighed when you remembered  Miyeon's post.

"Now what?" Jiwoo asked when she saw your gloomy face.

You told Jiwoo how you were confused with your own feelings.

"Minchae-ah Hyunjae likes you.  Believe me" Jiwoo said.

as you were about to say something the sound of opening the door was heard. and you saw Seungwoo entering the house. You guessed he just came back from the Gym as he had sweats dripping from his forehead

"Oh Minchae is here," Seungwoo said and saw Jiwoo nodding.

"Let me go and take a shower," Seungwoo said and you nodded. After a while, Seungwoo came back and sat beside Jiwoo.

"Are you ok Minchae-ah?" Seungwoo asked as he heard you sigh " She is confused about her feelings" Jiwoo said and Seungwoo nodded.

"Oppa I am sure he likes Miyeon," You said 

"And our Minchae here is  jealous," Jiwoo said

"Oppa I am just confused. I have known Hyunjae since I can remember. But I don't know why I feel this way. I feel irritated whenever I see him with another woman" You said and Seungwoo smiled.

"You know Minchae-ah when I first saw Jiwoo. we instantly began to bicker. Our parents are friends too. when I came back  from abroad I understood how head over  heels I was for Jiwoo." Seungwoo said and a smile formed on your lips. Seungwoo and Jiwoo were indeed a cute couple. 

"I see you two are talking. so I will go and prepare some food for you guys"  Jiwoo said and Seungwoo nodded placing a kiss on Jiwoo's cheek.

"So what I was saying is that you fell in love Minchae-ah. You fell in love with your best friend." Seungwoo said.

"So confess to him.  You guys will be together anyways. as time goes by you guys are bound to fall in love" Seungwoo said.

You and Seungwoo talked for a little while. Seungwoo was like your personal psychiatrist. He listened to your concern attentively and you could understand that he was trying his best to give you an answer. You wished that you had an elder brother like him at the moment.

"Food is  ready," Jiwoo said and you and Seungwoo went to the table 

"Sorry, Minchae-ah I couldn't cook something better as our house didn't have many ingredients," Jiwoo said. You were really thankful for Jiwoo.

She has always been like a mother bird to you, Changmin and Haewon. you were really glad that  Jiwoo also had Seungwoo by her side who can listen to her problems and run to her whenever she needs a shoulder to cry on. Of ofcourse you guys are here but she pretends to be strong in front of you guys. So you were glad that she had Seungwoo

 You met Jiwoo when you were a freshman and she was a 2nd grader in high school. You also decided to get enrolled in this University because of her.

After eating you talked with Jiwoo and Seungwoo for a long time. You also came to know more about Seungwoo and Jiwoo's love story which you found so cute. Now you were ready to leave for home and Seungwoo insisted he would drop you off as it was getting late. 

after a while, you came back to your house.

"think about what I said ok Minchae-ah?" Seungwoo asked and you nodded. "Ne Oppa. goodnight" You said and  Seungwoo left.
