Chapter 48

1 week passed and honestly speaking it was a hectic week you couldn't even spend time with Hajun.

you had now submitted the design to  The developing team who would submit the design to Hyunjae and were now waiting for the results.

"I hope it gets accepted" you mumbled.

you heard a knock on the door and  saw that it was Brain 

"Minchae-ssi Mr. Lee wants you in the meeting too," Brain said

"Is it something bad?" You asked

"Ah, we didn't start the meeting. Mr. Jo said that Mr. Lee wanted to give feedback face to face" Brain said and you sighed

"Yes, I am coming," You said and headed to the meeting room with Brain.

You entered the meeting room and saw that Hyunjae was already there.

"You are later Ms. Kim," Hyunjae said

"I am sorry Mr. Lee I didn't know I had to be here," You said and took your sit

"Let's start the meeting shall we," Hyunjae said and the leader of the developing team Jin  Doghan started the meeting.

"Ms. Kim   only by the designed why would people buy our products?" Hyunjae suddenly asked you

"Mr.Lee I- I asked Ms. Kim so let her answer,"  Hyunjae said and you gulped.

"Mr. Lee I-" You tried to resonate but you didn't find any words. In the past companies you had to work, you would just submit your work and will be done but here you have to present your designs. and the boss being Hyunjae didn't help you either.

"See, ms Kim. If you ask me,  there is nothing special in your designs. Every company has products of similar designs. So they wouldn't buy if we have higher prices and if we lower our price we can't make a profit. So what do you think we should do" Hyunjae said.

"Change our designs?" You said more like asked.

"Right," Hyunjae said.

Do you have to change them? You worked so hard on them!

"So we will have our meeting next week and Ms. Kim I hope you will be done by then," Hyunjae said and left followed  Jinho.

"Oh no Minchae-ssi what to do. I know you worked hard on them" Ahyeon one of the members of the developing team said.

"I have to change them. What else" You said 

2 hours went by like a flash and you were struggling. It was the time of going home so you were about to leave when you saw Jinho approaching you.

"Minchae-ssi were you going home?" Jinho asked and you nodded.

"Mr. Lee wanted to see you," Jinho said 

'What does he want again' You thought.

you went to the 20th floor and knocked on  hyunjae's office 

"Mr. Lee, you wanted to see me?" You asked

"Come with me," Hyunjae said which made you shock.

"Hyung you can go home," Hyunjae said you for one  second didn't understand who he was talking to but late you understand that  he was talking to  Jinho

"OK, Hyunjae-ah call me if you need anything,"  Jinho said and left you two alone. Now it was awkward.

"Come with me," Hyunjae said and you followed him. Hyunjae went to his car and signaled you to get inside.

"Am I your driver?" Hyunjae said when you were about to enter in the back seat.

By hearing Hyunjae's word you went to sit in front.

"Mr. Lee I have to go home if you have nothing urgent," You said. You promised to take Hajun on a trip with Seungyeon. But I guess that wasn't possible.

"This trip is purely work-based ms Kim so don't take it any other way," Hyunjae said

Then Hyunjae took you to a mall. "Here is our showroom. I bought you here so that you can get ideas" hyunjae said and honestly, it would help you a lot.

You and Hyunjae roamed around the showrooms for a while. Showrooms yes because here they had 3 showrooms on different floors. You were proud of how far Hyunjae has come. But You could hear the female staff talking about how handsome Hyunjae was and who the female beside him made your blood boil. You scoffed and went with Hyunjae.

Now you were about to walk home you heard hyunjae pulled out beside you.

"Grt in ms Kim" Hyunjae said. "That's an order from your boss," Hyunjae said when you were hesitating. You hurriedly got in the car  

You saw that Hyunjae pulled out outside a restaurant. When you looked closely it was your favorite restaurant.

"Why are we- This is because I am hungry ms Kim, and it would be impolite of me to let you go since you spent your precious time with me,"  Hyunjae said before you could finish your sentence

You saw that you were getting calls from Seungyeon. You looked at Hyunjae and he signaled you to pick up the call

Hyunjae was still in love with you. Whenever he thought about you his heart beat like crazy. He wanted explanations. At the same time, he was broken hearted too. And when he saw that Seungyoun called you it made him furious.

"on a second note ms. Kim get out. I don't want to eat" Hyunjae said and left you alone
